Hiya all. Hope u all well :j:j
Just come back from a 5 day visit to Devon cliffs . Weather good on Tuesday:D. The rest of the week so an so:(.

Anyway, I come home to find some tesco vouchers have been posted to me but the name says the name of the person who stolen my points (now refunded). How can tesco be so careless to do that and how can I use them :wall:.

Also, any glitches in the last 5 days. Need to pop to A's to get some milk so anything A related will be good. Off to have a read back anyhow :)

As a result of reading about those of you who have lost precious or otherwise photos, I've come home and got straight on the lappie to transfer the pics off my phone, and then will back it up onto my external hard drive, so thank you for making me a task that is probably long overdue!

    Hi mhoc

Provided your account is billed up to date, any remaining credit balance is your money and, once requested, should be refunded immediately. I'm really sorry if this hasn't happened.

When you contact us, please let us have your latest meter readings. Our advisor will then bill the account to these and arrange for any remaining credit to be refunded.

With payment arrangements, like a Monthly Direct Debit, we do have a duty to advise you of the possible consequences of refunding balances before the annual review.

Our Direct Debits are set up over a 12 month period with payments spread evenly over this time. The aim is to achieve as near as possible to a zero balance by the time of the annual review.

At this time of year, when usage is usually lower, we do expect accounts to be in credit ready for the higher winter bills. Refunding before the annual review may lead to the account going into debt later on.

Interim reviews are also carried out to make sure you're on course for a zero balance. Refunding in advance may, following a review, lead to a request to increase the monthly payments as there may not be enough money in the account to achieve a zero balance.

As I say, we do have a duty to let you know of these possibilities. However, if you still want to go ahead, we'll refund the balance.

At the annual review, any balance over a fiver is automatically refunded.

Hope this helps mhoc. Let me know if you need any more info as will be happy to help.

    Malc

Thank you, I rang and got sorted out.

MY monthly is now up to £94 but we will see how that goes. I do fortnightly readings. There are only 2 of us most of the time now but we had a constant stream of itinerant visitors over the summer and the constant x box gaming, showering, 3 wash loads a day again and the kettle boiling constantly meant we actually had a small rise in usage over the 2 summer months Fortunatley the Mhoc hostel for waifs and strays is now closed until further notice :rotfl:

I think you need to write a letter to Tescos CO

We've never had a problem using/combining clubcard vouchers with different names on them so using them shouldn't be a problem :) frustrating for you though :(
2014 wins: £15 iTunes voucher, £15 Amazon voucher, Sharwood's wok & sauces, Food Lover's Guide to the World book, £20 Tesco giftcard, Goodfellas x 3, Garnier skin cream, £25 Frankie & Benny's, Chiquito meal, £20 Frankie & Benny's, Panebello pizza, Harlan Coben book
  • Vanilla - still not sorted as when they rang me back, they couldn't access my account as they were billing - so they offered to ring me back again sometime this afternoon. Absolutely useless! Told them not to bother as had things to do - like T's to fleece:rotfl: Will deal with it by email in form of a complaint. All I want them to do is reduce it down to the original amount as it was based on last years actual usage and in theory should even itself over the year.
