    Another question.

At the Sada till today I was asked for my post code. I'm not sure why (I should have asked) and the SA I think typed it into the till.

Has anyone else ever been asked for their post code.

  • Here's one with limited appeal but might interest somebody. I'm cancelling my TCB West Bromwich BS home contents insurance because they are refusing to track it, the cheats - should have been £62 cashback on £78 policy so guess why they're not honouring it? Anyway it's interest free direct debit monthly so simple to cancel & I've had the insurance. Well I hit 50 this year so qualify for Age UK home contents insurance. My building gets insured already so I find that a simple £60K contents policy costs an old fart like me £47.99 with cashback of £36.75, again pay monthly direct debit with no interest so can be cancelled any time.

So did you buy 1 meat one and 2 cheese ones? Wonder why the cheese ones are not showing :(

Presumably the cheese one wasn't on MSM when the shop was done

Remember this is an old receipt the OP is talking about so it's harder to prove/disprove theories than if this was done today

be careful as some firms say interest free but the policy is paid for by a third party who you then pay meaning it isnt so simple to cancel as you have to pay the full year

    Shopitize - what a load of doughballs:rotfl:

Think we are due a Tesco Express Glitch - last one I remember was the smoothie.

Waiting for my energy company to ring me back, they only want to reduce my DD by £20 which means by the next billing I will still be over £800 in credit. Last time they wanted to increase it from £97 to £224:eek: After a heated discussion they reduced it to £152 and they still have a load of my ££££s. Such a con.

Sorry to sound blonde but did you ask for a refund. I was in credit a couple of months ago and had not problem having the credit refunded. I am sure there is some rule that they are not allowed to hold onto your money if you are in credit.

Edit have seen further posts. Hope you all get your refunds.

I tell them my daughters as its 83 miles away - I like to mess with their heads :D

Even better I think I find one for the outer Hebrides and put a sticky on my coupon folder for future reference
