The fan comes on but it still gets too hot! I had an external fan and it worked ok until yesterday! as soon as the fan starts, 10 seconds later it swicthes off. It's been trying to restore itself and has now done so, but it's reset to factory conditions and everything has been wiped.
I'm now in the process of loading some programs on it to see it will do!! Wish me luck.
Hope you get it sorted.N1LDA0 -
Another question.
At the Sada till today I was asked for my post code. I'm not sure why (I should have asked) and the SA I think typed it into the till.
Has anyone else ever been asked for their post code.0 -

Yes, they did this around the same time last year. I remember because we were all suspicious because THE big glitch was on :rotfl: turns out they were just doing a survey of where their customers were travelling from to shop in different stores0 -

I am trying to get £300 back from Eon and its a slow tortuous process. The girl that replied to my emails - well you would think it was coming out of her bonus
I think I will go and have another attempt as its a few weeks since I heard from them.
I imagine though that there are quite a few people with big balances on their fuel accounts that they could ask to get refunded - some help towards re balancing the books when the coffers are low after the summer holiday and school uniform extravaganza:D
Hi mhoc
Provided your account is billed up to date, any remaining credit balance is your money and, once requested, should be refunded immediately. I'm really sorry if this hasn't happened.
When you contact us, please let us have your latest meter readings. Our advisor will then bill the account to these and arrange for any remaining credit to be refunded.
With payment arrangements, like a Monthly Direct Debit, we do have a duty to advise you of the possible consequences of refunding balances before the annual review.
Our Direct Debits are set up over a 12 month period with payments spread evenly over this time. The aim is to achieve as near as possible to a zero balance by the time of the annual review.
At this time of year, when usage is usually lower, we do expect accounts to be in credit ready for the higher winter bills. Refunding before the annual review may lead to the account going into debt later on.
Interim reviews are also carried out to make sure you're on course for a zero balance. Refunding in advance may, following a review, lead to a request to increase the monthly payments as there may not be enough money in the account to achieve a zero balance.
As I say, we do have a duty to let you know of these possibilities. However, if you still want to go ahead, we'll refund the balance.
At the annual review, any balance over a fiver is automatically refunded.
Hope this helps mhoc. Let me know if you need any more info as will be happy to help.
