Good Ol' Bombay Pots still working against T, must be a year now? Didn't they used to be 77p with A though?

    1 x A SDA Chosen by You Bombay Potato (400g) £0.95 £0.05

Excellent if they are working again. I don't like the taste but a great filler.

Sounds just like a case of debris being caught in the fan and it overheating. Probably leaving it and maybe being tipped on it's side will have dislodged any dust etc.

It could have been. I vaguely remember we tried the vacuum trick on it and it didn't work.
The last thing I did with it before it packed up was to try to shut it down but it went into 'hibernate' mode when the battery was virtually dead. This seemed to cause the problem when it was trying to boot up.
Lesson learnt for me, never hibernate a laptop that's almost dead :o

    Good afternoon everyone,

    A quick question.

Why do some people type Sada and Tosco instead of the correct spelling?

    Thanks

We are all very paranoid. Supermarkets have spies everywhere and they have staff hanging about this and other MSE threads, either lurking in silence or pretending to be newbies so they can be ready the second we spot a nice glitch to slam the door shut on it as fast as their IT technections can get their head around what is going wrong :rotfl:

Thanks to you both, I will try and remember that from now on.

Here's my shop from today. Notice the SADA and Tosco spelling. The store I used today didn't have everything I wanted to buy but hope it helps someone.

I think if I'd picked up 2 normal pesto instead of the reduced fat ones it would have compared better as this is 80p each in Tosco and the multi-buy was not picked up the other day on someone's womble.

7 items (6 different) on your bill qualify for comparison SADA Tosco
    +£6.87

    1 x SADA Smartprice Spaghetti (500g) £0.32 £0.32
    1 x SADA Mixed Peppers (3) £1.00 N/A
    1 x Amoy Coconut Milk Reduced Fat (400ml) £1.79 £1.00
    1 x Kia Ora Orange Squash No Added Sugar (2L) £1.00 N/A
    1 x Vimto Cherry Cordial No Added Sugar (1L) £1.78 £1.00
    1 x Swizzels Matlow Strawberry Refresher Bar £0.10 N/A
    1 x Longley Farm Black Cherry Yogurt (150g) £0.34 N/A
    1 x Haribo Tangfastics Mini £0.10 £0.10
    1 x SADA Cannellini Beans in Water (300g) £0.62 N/A
    2 x SADA Reduced Fat Green Pesto Sauce (190g) £2.00 £2.20
