More like thousands since May...you are out of date, your advice would have been OK in 2012!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Update
Well having gone through the correct channels and emailed numerous times as yet still had nothing back from both parties.
I have stated why I wish for my ticket to be cancelled etc also stating penalty notice number but from my first email on the 4/9/13 not one reply so as far as I'm concerned there in no position to chase me for payment.0 -
I think I would write a letter 'snail mail' to the TOC and ask for the information. Emails are easy to ignore and when weeks have passed, are then forgotten even if a Manager had meant to respond.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

They still have clamping/towing on the sign - WOW!
It should be a doddle to challenge this as its in no way compliant with current BPA guidelines on signs and its very much worth a complaint to the DVLA as the grace period to replace all pre-POFA clamping signs is long-up.
No difference under railway bylaws I'm afraid. They must however still be a licenced clamper - not just joe bloggs from the cleaning department.
From my days in parking though, many railway staff don't actually know this - several admitted to me over the years that they had clamped cars without knowing they needed to be licenced!
All very dodgy.. but as long as they're keeping the traffic moving lol0 -
Well I actually wrote to the station manager and put the letter in his sweaty hand but no response. No response from CP either but I have a little longer to wait to be outside of the 35day window.0
-
I'm outside the 35 day but still nothing I responded with an appeal on the 4th September so everything according to there auto response is put on hold apparently.
Thank you for your enquiry/appeal/complaint.
As soon as an appeal is received, the time you have to pay the reduced amount is put on hold. Should your appeal not be upheld you will then have 14 days from receipt of our formal response to pay the reduced amount.
Please accept this auto-response as acknowledgement of your appeal, however a formal response may take up to 35 days.0 -
They will probably respond in a couple of months and say that the 35day time limit does not apply to byelaw offences.0
-
Well they have responded but not in the way they were supposed to!!
Today I received a letter from my lease company asking for £120 in fines from CP Plus. Having already explained to my lease company this was going through the appeals process and showing them the mails they agreed that they are wrong to follow this up when the appeal has not been dealt with correctly.
So much for following there own guidelines!!0 -
