    Camelot it is so sad.

Im home after a mad drive through rush hour traffic to see my father. He does seem brighter and more stable so am more hopeful.

I would just like to put it out there that I have a wonderful husband. He looked after my mum (no easy task), drove down to London and back to Northampton to take me to see my dad and home again.

Thank you for all the positive vibes x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Camelot - so sorry to hear this, it's so sad.

Back from tea out with the other managers. Had 2 huge pork loin steaks with cider gravy and a load of veg, only £7.95. Portions were massive and the food was lovely. We go there fairly often from work.
Planning the Christmas night out already though.... I don't drink so I hope they factor in going for food otherwise I won't be going!
the only debt left now is on credit cards! The evil loan has gone!! :j:j
  • Camelot - that is awful.

Well I saw the new dentist today and had a proper check up, where they number your teeth. My old dentist hadn't done that for a few years. Then they took an xray and decided I need a filling as there is the beginnings of decay. So I shall be back again next week.

Chopped up some veg and left it to stand with salt ready to make into Pickle tomorrow. Not done it before so fingers crossed.
  • Camelot - awful tragic news, thinking of the young mans family and you too
  • Molly - glad your dad seems brighter, hope you manage to rest and I think we already knew you had a wonderful husband, he sounds such an amazing person.

I agree you have an amazing husband - but I think he would return the compliment to you! :A

Positive vibes to your son and Molly's dad and anyone else in need.

The news about the body in the Clyde is awful. I used to live there thirty years ago and a colleagues husband had to dive in to rescue someone and nearly did not make it himself. His work partner was not so lucky but the guy they rescued was fine and was telling everyone around how he had jumped and seemed proud of the fact.

Two dds go to visit their older sister down south tomorrow so have packed up a few bits and pieces and want to bake pizza whirls tomorrow to take . If there is time before they leave I would like to bake mini quiches as well. The large chocolate cake fell to bits so might try to turn it into small cakes in cases.

Does anybody else think that cooking conversions for recipes and gas ovens (not fan) are seriously under what they need to be? Maybe it is just me?

    Hug to all
