  • I have only made malt loaf once and it was just not the consistency I was expecting. You will have to wait and see what it is like when it is cooked. Let us know. Gone back to Sorreen myself though I don't buy them very often only for my dd

  • I had a couple of lemons going a bit soggy in the fridge so I made a lemon cake today. It is supposed to be for my friends at work. They always look forward to somthing to eat on Monday mornings. But it is so nice I don't know if there will be much left to take.

I do know that the malt loaf I've made in the bm several times doesn't look like Soreen, not as squishy iykwim, more like a tea bread, but still very yummy, and the slices are much bigger ha ha,not too good for the waistline

Do you have a good Sticky Malt Loaf Recipe that's tried and tested, I have found a few on-line but they don't look like the good sticky malt loaf you can buy.

    Thanks in advance. icon7.gif

    Hi Meadows,

There's an earlier thread that should help so I've added your post to it to keep the recipes together.
