Have bought my husband "The Da Vinci Code" Audiobook from Ebay.
£4.99 + £2 P & P - NEW!
Excellent value - 5 CD's.
Great idea because he does a lot of driving in his job and it will break up the monotony of motorway driving.0 -
Thanks jap. My uncle (his brother) did their family tree a while back and I think we still have the CD-ROM of it somewhere. I could take some pictures from that!
Have bought some CD's from Woolies as suggested - a double and a single for £7 - bargain - not that he asked for but that I thought he might like, some chocs he can munch and may get some restaurant vouchers so that he and Mum can go out.

Matalon had some great t-shirts a couple of weeks ago for Fathers day. 2 for 6 pounds or 4 pounds each.
e.g. 'Real dads don't read instructions.'0 -
I know that this sounds like a joke, but it's not. It would make a great gift for any Dad who is a fan of Monty Python - that's most men over 30 I think!
I just had an email from https://www.seetickets.com with an advert for a special fathers' day deal. I have pasted the words here. I think that this is OK to post here as opposed to the codes board as it is not a discount.
Forget the slippers, socks and nasal hair trimmer! This Fathers’ Day why not give him something he'll really want. Yes, with tickets to the hilarious Monty Python's Spamalot not only is he guaranteed a knight to remember but with him out of the house, why not treat yourself to a perfect knight in?

My 60+ Mum & Dad went to this last month and loved it!
As an idea, Prezzy Box have a £5 off for fathers day and sell a very nice deluxe portable hammock that i am hoping my wife & 2 yr old have taken the hint for!0 -
How about a trip to Supercar Sunday at Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire? Loads of fab fast cars, including Ferrari. Lambourghini, etc. And Russ Swift doing his 'car-o-batics' act. Pretty good. So if your dad's into cars, it's a good day out. Tickets are £8 on the day, less in advance (though not sure if there's enough time now for advance tickets).0

Personalised newspaper for your dad
I made it!!
Nothing, except cost of ink (and I bought a clip frame from tesco for £1.94)
Just visit the website https://www.inthepaper.co.uk and follow the instructions to design your newspaper front page! then click on preview newspaper, if you right click on the picture of your design and right click to save picture! then all you do is print it off!!! a bit of a cheat, but it works!!

Absolutely brilliant find - I did one for my husband! We watch the Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse show and love the S African man in the gym. We loved the sketch with the carrot up his nought - so I used the telephone story and amended it to carrot. Brilliant!Heard the Shaggy Taxi Wind Up Phone Call?
Visit my Shaggy videos on Youtube - search for Rhyburgh1 - now over 700,00 views - bring on the million!! Enjoy.0 -

Why not take advantage of Martin's latest email and get him an MP3 player from Sony (absolutely free when you take out their credit card)
Will probably be a bit of a wiat but most Dad's couldn't really care less about Father's day. My dad works in France most of the time, and he doesn't even know it is Father's day so he will be happy with anything.
It's his birthday in October and for that I am getting him a day out riding a harley Davidson Fat boy or whatever they are called.
Good luck with the hunt everyone, and the MP3 player seems like a winner (if your Dad can cope with things like that, might be beyond my Dad). I know he will be amazed how a tiny thing like that can hold so much music - bless him.
