tsk tsk, doesn't sound like you put your fabulous decluttering shoes on, Shoegal! I'm not easily distracted by your displacement activities, I've got that particular crown :-)
Satchmo xWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
Good luck on the 2nd interviews shoe gal but I agree with Satch, get some decluttering done so you can spring clean your life and start your new adventure more fabulous and organised! XI want to be a writer0

Most Christmas presents bought yesterday, just a couple of things still to get, including gift bags/paper. Also got a birthday present and cards for my friend next week. Cards written this morning so just need to go to the Post Office
Had to buy new trainers. When I came back from my run yesterday my feet were wet and hurting, when I looked at my trainers I could see daylight through them in a couple of places! Not prepared to damge my feet - I have too many beautiful shoesso new trainers it was! Got them from Sports Direct and not too expensive for proper running trainers (not top of the range - I don't run that much!)
Been doing some research for my interview this afternoon so fingers crossed that goes well! I have had confirmation from the temp role, starting next week if I want it so that's something. Just going to wait on the outcome of my two second interviews and go from there
I've been really good with food this week but it's not showing on the scales so far which is disheartening! I have set myself an 'Abs Challenge' up to Christmas Eve - each day, 10 minutes ab exercises (routine is already stored on my ipad) and 30 mins Slendertone - feel free to nag me about that too!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Interview seemed to go ok, so just waiting to hear now, they said it would be early next week. Fudged the salary issue too, basic plus bonus scheme - whatever that means
Trying to motivate myself to run, it's gone really cold here!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
Went for a run last night and have done 20 minutes kettle bell and 10 minutes abs today from YouTube
Meeting some friends for drinks tonight but going to drive as I have my interview tomorrow!

:j:j:j:j I was offered both jobs after my second interviews this week!
So am now back in the land of the employed!
Final details to be sorted but am going with the one that appeals most, which also pays best, and am hoping to start on 2nd Jan. So I suppose I am officially on holiday for Christmas now
On a more serious note the last couple of weeks has made me realise that I need to knuckle down and pay off my debts. I work in an industry which can be a bit fickle and I have no back up plan. Had I taken the temp route, which is pretty much always available, I would not have had enough money to service my debts and I have felt quite vulnerable. I really need to get into MSE ways and start paying down my debts, I have really stalled this year and not reduced my total debt at all despite paying over £300 per month in payments because I have taken my eye off the ball and continued to spend
Off to get some Christmas bits now, now the job pressure is of I'd better get organised! Then a quiet evening tonight as I have my run tomorrow. No weightloss this week but have stayed the same which I suppose is ok given the time of year - and the fact that I have been out eating and drinking the last two nights!Sometimes it's hard to walk in a single woman's shoes - that's why we need really special ones!Total debt @ Oct 2008: £29,226.42 Credit Card- £[STRIKE]7493.56[/STRIKE] - £7243.56Weightloss : 0/34lbs0 -
