Colin has bent the sold sign, it is now at a 45 degree angle and looks like a drunkard put it up :rotfl:

    :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Well done that cat!

ps. Agree with everyone else; I'd thank Buyer#2 for their late offer, and tell them that if Buyer#1 drops out they'll have first refusal. ;)

Wow what wonderful news on all fronts.

I hope your DD is well and has a good trip and you have a lovely time together.

    Colin is a typical cat!!

With the house sale and all these offers you had, just wondering if the estate agent priced it high enough to start with, and this day and age (so I am told) you rarely get the asking price, let alone above it, but I also think you did the right thing in refusing it for now.

I wish you well for the move, remember the boxes must be strong enough, nothing worse than the box giving way as you are carrying it from a to b and all the contents are across the path / drive for all to see!!

Maybe Colin isn't so much a fat cat, more a well-built ninja? It takes class to bend a sign like that!

I think it's the honourable thing to do as well PIQ, well done you :T.

:rotfl:at Colin. DD might be getting a cat called James :D.

:rotfl::rotfl:James, that's brilliant, thing is when you're calling the cat in late at night I'm sure the neighbours must think 'poor husband, gets no peace from that woman' How about Nigel as an alternative to James?....
Absolutely the right and honorable thing to do - you probably earnt about a ton of good karma!

Hope you having a wonderful time with your daughter.

    x

Some good karma would be nice, along with some help packing up!

Luckily for me the estate agent is doing all the communicating, means I don't have to face them and say no :o I don't like upsetting people, but I can't be a house bigamist.

Good to see you again, you've been missing in action for a while. The house was on the market for more than the others that are the same in the road. It has a better location, fields to three sides and a kitchen to die for, how I am going to miss my kitchen :(

Before you clear too much don't forget to take some 'photos of your house (especially the kitchen). In time you will look back at them and realise that you love your new one. I do admit to suffering from kitchen envy!!

DD is beautiful, all slim, tanned and happy, she's off to spend the day with my parents today. I'll be at work :( A weekend of friends and then the search for work starts. I don't know how long she's staying for, but it would appear the UK will be her base for now :T

More good news :T DD1 has just called to say his gorgeous girlfriend has agreed to marry him, she is so perfect for him and they adore each other. It is just fantastic news.

I didn't get much sorting out done yesterday, due to DD's arrival just one trip to the dump with rubbish from the loft. DS3 is coming back Tuesday to get some done.

Work was quiet so I got another two items up on eb@y, won't get the chance tonight as it's much busier on a Friday night, but I might get a chance tomorrow afternoon.

Best go and get ready for the lunchtime shift, bye for now....

I have the ones the estate agent took, it looks like a magazine kitchen. It took me a year in the planning and had a friend build it for me from nothing. Oh and did I mention it was one of my larger debts? £25k loan:eek: all paid off now!

The new place's kitchen will need a bit of TLC, but it could be a cosy kitchen with a different sort of charm.

Wow! Congratulations on the engagement! Things are going from strength to strength at last for you.

It sounds as though the kitchen may have been a bit of a deciding factor for the buyer - it would be for me!
