Battersea dogs home knocked for donations, during which time Colin ate my shop bought cheese and onion quiche, the parts that weren't eaten looked well licked. Binned.

Hello Piq, :hello:
Just catching up, must admit to chuckling at this:Battersea dogs home knocked for donations, during which time Colin ate my shop bought cheese and onion quiche, the parts that weren't eaten looked well licked. Binned.
..Reckon Colin probably did you a favour there, unless the quiche came from a specialist emporium (in which case: Baad Cat!).
Great news that you are on the point of leaping into the next chapter - which will include Captain [and Noah] returning to your care, of course.
As DFw says; hope it is not too painful to finally close the door on your 'old' house.. Very Best Wishes that your move proceeds without a hitch! :cool2:0 -

Although if a certain moggy continues thieving food, I wouldn't blame you if you packed him up in a cardboard box and left him for the new owners. Naughty cat!

A loud bang and smoke coming out of the microwave is not a good thing, right?
It would seem the microwave has breathed it's last. I have had to rush out and pick up a cheap new oneas well as a new washing up bowl and an outside rubber mat, hopeful that it will keep some of the dirt down.
I've emptied out my large chest of drawers. DS1 and fiancee are having it, there is no room for it in the new place, however, it's beautiful and I didn't want it to go just anywhere. I know it would have raised some money, but I'd rather it stayed somewhere it will be appreciated. I seem to have a lot of knickers......
I'm now off work until a week Tuesday, not that it will be a rest :rotfl:
Tomorrow consists of complete clear down, collecting the van and last minute panicking. I should be able to pop on here in the evening. I won't be back here until Wednesday which is when the broadband connection is due to go live. If I'm not back, it's not gone live....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
