Finally what to do about the deeds of transfer was agreed between the two solicitors.....and what earth shattering decision did they come to? Yes, that's right - me to scrub through the wrong amount and put in the correct amount..... Due to the shortness of time, given that they have ummed and ahhed about it for a week, I had to rush down to down and get the coffee shop manager to witness my signature and get it in the post to ensure it is with the solicitor n Monday

Had a thought whilst I was there, why am I considering buying paper cups when I work in a coffee shop? Have brought home quite a few for move day. Also with the move in mind picked up some Penguins, the chocolate kind, from T£sco. Eye level display - 9 for £1.75 - floor level display 100% extra free ie 18 for £1.75. How stupid do they think we are?

Battersea dogs home knocked for donations, during which time Colin ate my shop bought cheese and onion quiche, the parts that weren't eaten looked well licked. Binned.

Last evening shift before the move coming up. Then from tomorrow it is time to really get on with packing no more shirking :o I will check in with progress updates.

Do you mean a dead mouse or a cat poo???

You do sound fantastically organised! I'm sure it will all go fine. Sorry you've got a cold. Sending positive vibes from all here; Jeeves waves a paw (normally a natty white, currently very muddy and "franking" all the important papers on the kitchen table - sigh) to Colin!

I love your cat franking. Suspect I might get a bit once moved as there is a cream carpet in the living room

Although if a certain moggy continues thieving food, I wouldn't blame you if you packed him up in a cardboard box and left him for the new owners. Naughty cat!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
