    G'day Auntie Piq

So glad that you're back on here :D

So sorry for all the troubles that you've had in RL and just wondering if your local council offer a befriending service which would have someone sit with your Dad for a few hours so your Mum could get out or even a Day Centre. Really hope that things calm down for you soon.

Ooo jealous of you going to Glastonbury I've always wanted to go although :rotfl: at the picture rejections. Guess it'll be a few more years for me yet.

Really hope that the job is treating you well and loving the tales (tails??) of your boys and look forward to more stories.

Just a quick update from me, finished work now using holidays then mat leave from 20 October and due to gestational diabetes will be getting induced between 38 - 39 weeks so 4.5 weeks to go until we meet our little girl

Can't wait to hear more from you Piq, I've missed you xx

Dad doesn't like strangers...... honestly, love him, but he's driving me round the bend at the moment. Luckily, they have quite a lot of friends who are still going to see them. I took my mum out for lunch whilst he was having dialysis, just for an out the house break.

I can't believe the baby is so near now. Time has flown! It's so exciting! Is Mr Alioops prepared yet?

Did you send in a photo of the Captain for the Glasto thing by mistake :rotfl:

Hope you are enjoying your new job and it suits you? Sorry to hear about your Dad's health - not an easy situation for any of you.

    take care

    So I am!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Don't think I sent in a picture of him, surely they'd let him in though, it being a farm and all that.

I'll update on the new job soon, I'm quite happy there, long may it last.

Good to see you too teapot :D

Just about ready to get ready for work. All animals fed and watered, including Roger the ruddy rooster. He is one mean rooster, tried to peck me while I was bending down to feed his hens

I'll try to get back this evening, though I think I'm seeing a friend after work, not sure :o

Later start to work today and earlier finish! Sunday trading hours, thank goodness. Nevertheless, it will be very busy, Sunday is brunch day, then afternoon tea day. Give a thought to the poor soul cooking in the kitchen!

Yesterday I was asked if I would consider making cakes privately, it could make some more money, but I'm not sure if I would have enough time with all my animal and parental commitments. They were offering £20 a cake.....

Still not done any admin:o Maybe tomorrow after the car's MOT. Fingers crossed for a pass please. I'll use the time during the MOT to pop into the phone shop to find out where my apps are. Until that side of my phone is sorted there will be no pictures of Casper!

  • The hidden stars of Sundays - makers of breakfasts and brunches, Sunday lunches and afternoon tea! I am very appreciative of it!

    Hope the MOT goes well.
Homemade cake is always popular. Could be a good little earner if you have the time to spare (perhaps a longer term project?). Is this standard cakes like Victoria Sponge or more like celebration cakes?

There is a lady in Mum's village that makes cakes to sell. She always has a stock in the freezer so that people can buy one at short notice. We've definitely had frozen Victoria Sponge and Lemon Drizzle from her.
