Big hugs, Piq. Please do see the doc if need be and it sounds very much as if it may be needed. Take care of yourself first.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0

Being afraid is horrible. I have done nothing except mope [and eat]. Soooooo.....
I walked into a local boutique garden centre, noticed that the coffee shop was struggling, offered to help. Within an hour I was offered a job and start next week. :j:j:jNo more evening work, just five days a week, baking, cooking, cleaning and serving customers.
Okay, the worst bit is yet to come. I'm working evenings this week and will be handing my notice in this evening. I know nobody will speak to me from that moment on, but I can do five more shifts. As I'm weekly paid I'm fairly sure I'm on a week's notice.
Feeling a bit queasy about doing it, but I can't stay there. I haven't had much luck in jobs since I was made redundant. I really hope this is the one where I'm happy.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

In other news. I paid out for the repairs to my car £800 that I shouldn't have had to spend. I have massively overspent on the grocery budget, so much so that I have given up adding it up for the month of May. June is a new month and I'm starting again. I have piled on weight through comfort eating and not doing any exercise. I'll have to revisit that
Haven't exactly done much housework eithernot that I have ever been a housework fan:D
Once I'm away from my current job I can feel safe again. For the next few nights I'll make sure I'm not followed and just count down the days!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I'll post properly now beanie, promise!:D What has been going on knocked my confidence and left me exhausted, far too tired to post, yet I was doing nothing! Strange how the body reacts! Now I need to get my head around dieting or I'll have to buy an awful lot of new clothes, not good...Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

A new job well done, from what I remember you love your garden and at one time painted flower pots, so working in a garden centre restaurant will be idea for you, I would be careful about who you tell in your old job where the new job is.

I hope they are not too horrible about it but it has always made me feel queezy so know you feel. I really hope this job is the one for you. You deserve it. I really hope they find this person soon as I can't imagine what you are going threw, do any of your children live close enough that they could stay with you for a while if that would help? Xx0

I do love gardening and this is a very small, expensive centre. I'm not telling anyone where I'm going unless I absolutely have to. I think they know they've done too little too late to protect a member of staff, I just hope they look after my replacement better.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30
