Ahem I'm 35 and have been wearing hotter shoes since I moved over here 8 years ago but I don't have a choice unfortunately as my feet are that wide and clawed that they're the only shoes that fit. Although the lowest point I had was after visiting the Hotter shop husbandpet and I stopped for a coffee nearby and I watched an OAP walking down the street in the same shoes I just bought . Let's just say the mood went downhill VERY quickly
:rotfl:.
As to the other staff members do they not realise that they very nearly didn't have anywhere to work if you hadn't of responded the way that you did and sod it the boss needs to know. If you carried on telling them you would've ended up out of favour anyway so at least it came from above and you can just get on with it.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

*snigger* :rotfl:That happened to me recently in a shop when I was tempted by a new top. Huge old lady picked it up and commented that she thought she might be a bit young for it and wasn't it good that it came in such large sizes:eek:mcculloch29 wrote: »Well... if the club members are angry despite the fact that they could have seriously injured you -or worse - it shows the level of intelligence you are dealing with. I hope work isn't TOO unpleasant and may your field be blessed with a drying wind.
It's quite a relief that they're not talking to me meant I didn't have to prepare any sandwiches or chips. A win win situation!Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

The boys have fencing and a gate!!!!:j:jI have to buy a padlock for the gate. The shelter is ready to go up this week. I'm not sure when the fields will have some fertilizer put down, just before a bit of rain is the ideal time normally. I'm getting a bit excited and a bit nervous all at the same time.
I don't have any other exciting news I'm afraid. Just a quiet day at work followed by a quiet evening on the sofa with a purring cat.Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

I think it's the sole responsibility thing for two oldies. I've always had other people around to ask questions or opinions of before. I think the two boys know it all better than I do anyway and will make no bones about telling me what is needed. I must remember to get a metal reinforced bit fitted on the Captain's stable door, he likes to rythmically kick it until his meal arrives. He has already taught Noah this trick much to my friend's joyTotal debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Well if the plonkers are so short sighted as to be incapable of rational thought better to have least to do with them!
Yeah! To boys fencing and gate! Sure there are lots of people you can ask including your friend or us in the box. Really elderly boys don't need a lot and less is sometimes more!Start info Dec11

Hi Piq. Re hanging the gate, the police advised us to put one hinge upside down otherwise, despite the padlock, some nasty types will just come along and lift the gate off it's hinges. Also advised us to use the rounded padlock types where once locked the clasp is hidden so bolt cutters are useless.
... OK, so between you and the farmer's wealth of knowledge ... grannies and sucking eggs comes to mind ... so will put myself to bed now.0 -
what she ^ said re gate hinges!!
also might matting on the door be better for his hooves rather than metal?- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
- Student Loan gone
Swagbucks, Mingle, GiffGaff, Prolific, Qmee & Quidco; thank you MSE every little bit helps0 -
I was thinking matting or an old piece of carpet as this deafens the noise, the metal with the noise that makes might encourage him more? Yay to getting boys home soonDebt 13-1-25 - £39K!!!
