Thanks Toto...been thinking alot about the loosing weight malarky...have done it sooo many times, loose it then back on again and more...just want it to stop! Have finally twigged that this is not just about being good for a few weeks/months but making 'proper' choices everyday, not worrying too much about the odd snack / bad food here and there but actually thinking about what I am putting into my mouth! I am off out tomorrow to take my dad out for a father's day meal..is very special as have not seen my dad on father's day for probably the last 7 years due to my rather nasty ex boyfriend so am really looking forward to it and already know I will be making sensible choices food wise...if there is nothing which is very SW friendly, i just have to be sensible with what I choose. Determined that when I shift this last bit of weight, will keep it off this time!

    Helloooooo!

Well, I think I've only gone and been good today!

Hubby had a kebab and onion bajis (sp?) for tea but I made myself a salad. Then my friend came over for a drink, but she's 38 weeks pregnant (we didn't plan on having our babies close together, it was just a coincidence) so she didn't drink and I just had a glass of rose wine, then went onto soft drinks.

She brought some nibbles with her, and I found myself picking at them, so I moved to the other end of the sofa so I couldn't reach them! :D

    Hi everyone :)

Well, hubby is having a fathers day sleep-in this morning so I'm going to make him breakfast in bed in a minute, with the help (?!) of Ryan. We're doing scrambled eggs and toast which isn't exactly diet food, but hopefully having a big breakfast will stop me feeling so hungry all day.

Lunch will be tricky as we are going out to the pub ( not very healthy or DFW, but I'll look for a healthy option), and tea will be some sort of salady-type thing.

Have a nice Sunday and I'll be back later to either brag or confess! :D

    Morning everyone

I had a good day yesterday and am hoping today is another one.

    Today I am having
3/4 pint milk for tea and coffee (measured into a jug)
1 cappuccino while I was out this morning

Breakfast - bowl of strawberries, banana and peach.
Lunch - 6oz baked potato, 1 teaspoon butter, 1 oz low fat cheese and a leafy salad with 1 tbs of low fat french dressing
Dinner - 1 large fresh egg (from my friend's chicken this morning) 1 slice of home made bread, 1 tsp butter, ketchup.
Fruit salad with 1 tbs of low fat cream

    Morning all

Well, as I officially started last Monday, today is my weigh in day......

    I've lost 6 pounds this week............:D

    so, food for today is

Waffles and beans (sorry tigtag love!!) fora late breakfast
    Bacon sandwich for lunch
Turkey mince keema and rice for dinner

I'd like to stay realistic and know that as I have oodles and oodles to lose I might lose quickly for the first week or so, but if I lose 2 pounds this coming week I'll be happy with that.

    Keren - that's fantastic!! Well done :D

I just had crunchy bran for breakfast and milk (I have skimmed now as can have more of it! I actually don't like semi anymore as it tastes funny to me now!). Cup of tea too. I really want to drink more water so that's my aim for today.

Sea I need to do that too - how much water are you aiming to drink? I'll do the same!
