I've had the WW pork casserole too, but I made it with quorn fillets and it was really nice.

Morning everyone, I don't know about you but I feel lighter already. I did a lot of practice yesterday so I think that burned a few calories.

I'm sort of having a go at this calorie shifting thing, where you have very little one day, a bit more the next, then a lot. The theory is that if you change how much you have every day your body doesn't know where it is so it doesn't thing aagghh diet, let's conserve every calorie. It's supposed to keep the metabloism up. I'm going to try it for a couple of weeks to see how I get on. So, today I'm on a low calorie day which is going to be tough (I like the idea of the eat a lot days more)

Breakfast - glass of fruit juice
Lunch - 2 slices of weight watchers bread with either ham or beef, no butter but can have mustard or horseradish.
Dinner - green salad with 1 tbs of low fat dressing, 1 oz cottage cheese, 1 egg.

Loads of water, plus some cherries to snack on. I'm not supposed to have any tea or coffee which is really going to hurt. I already cheated on that and had a cup of tea first thing before I decided to go for this diet.

Exercise will be, 1 hour workout dvd plus a couple of hours practice (I've decided I can use that as exercise because it is pretty physical)

Karen - are these the frozen ones you use (I have been craving this since your 1st post about them :p )

They certainly are! I'm using the cheapy Asda ones and they are 100 calories each, but they are little compared to the Bird's Eye ones (although I expect the Bird's Eye ones have more calories!)

In a way I've got off lightly food-wise tonight. Originally we were going to one of the eat all you can for £10 chinese buffet nights which would have been disastrous!!!

Toto - caught up with the thread - I play the flute (Grade 8) - I think we've got the makings of a band!!! We could be called the 'The DFW-ers' (pronounced The Doofers!) :)

We could keren, do you play sax too? flute is a pretty instrument. I think we do pretty much have a band. We have a vocalist, drums, bass, keys, flute, who plays guitar?

As for nandos, that's not a bad choice the chinese would have been a disaster. I love chinese but I have to stay away because I'm alergic to soya, and they hide it in all sorts, either that or they cook things in pans soya has been in. So, I usually go for indian, which is so much better for the diet :rotfl:

Have fun tonight though, they probably will want to talk about work but you can sit there feeling dead smug that youre out of it all now and have a much more peaceful day than they do.

I also chop them (crabsticks) up with prawns and pop them in a pasta - the only pasta OH will eat.

karen - waffles are now on my shoppng list for next week (if miserable bollox will let me put them in the trolly (see last nights post))

Toto - I just love the idea of fooling your body, how clever, I might give that a go and being that I am going to be very likely butcherd soon by a Steve Martin type dentist today may just be a low day ;)

I play the keyboard (and also the e-flat horn but VERY badly....oh, and the recorder hahaha), we could definitely form a band. I think Bunnyinthelights sings as well, and IA plays bass guitar. Can't think who else has said they play an instrument.

I imagine drumming is fab for toning your arms Toto? I need to tone mine, I used to do karate and squash which kept them in check, but I'm sure I'm getting bingo wings lol!
