So are we having an Adam and the Ants style drumming i.e. 2 drummers or am I gonna play the tambourine?:rotfl:
2 drummys are cool, you can't let it flam too much though, has to be tight. I don't even mind playing from off stage (so long as I'm mic-ed) you can have all the glory, nothing new for me there.:A

oh, wow, I would love that!!!!
might have to start looking at a sax!
Just popping my head in againWhat a musical bunch... I'm a flute player too (bit rusty - me not the flute!), would love to have a go at a sax, it's the same fingering, though the reed thing puts me off as I tried clarinet when I was younger and was useless at that!
ps though I'm not in the challenge you have inspired me to try to shift my few extra pounds.. been walking to and from work (money thing too), and trying to eat less rubbish this weekDebt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0 -
Who's in?
Hi Toto
Sorry - only up to page 5 of catching up with this thread, but can I be added to the list please? I need to lose a couple of stone, but will start with 21lbs as this is a more realistic target for now. Don't have scales at home, but got weighed at the doc's recently, and have to go back in August for blood tests, so will jump on the scales then & report back.
I can be good at work (free lunches & big salad bar), but evenings are difficult as I cook for me & my flatmate, who's 6'4", so he needs a lot of food! I'll should cut down on my portion sizes though, as it's crept up from 1/3 to 1/2 of the meal. Also, weekends are difficult, as I've got an all-consuming (literally!) chocolate peanut/raisin habit
I really need to get my A into G now, though. Had a few bits of bad news this week, and it'll take a couple of months to get my life back on track. My usual fix-all is to go shopping and overeat, and although I've talked myself out of spending money to cheer myself up, It's difficult to make myself give up the chocs. Need. More. Self. Control.
Sorry for rambling on. I'll pop back later & catch up on the rest of the thread. Will start properly tomorrow (already been bad today)
Cheers (heres to no more hurty clothes!)

(((HUGS))) tigtag, hope you're not feeling too bad.
I need to confess to something bad......I ate some ice cream
I defrosted the freezer and cleaned and tidied it all, and there was a little bit of ice cream in a big tub, and I thought 'everything would fit in so much better without this big tub getting in the way', so I ate it! SORRY!!
The freezer looks great though "I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

Mrs S, dieting is like DFWing - if we deny ourselves EVERYTHING then we have no motivation to actually tackle the *problem*.
The above is either good advice or advance justification for what may pass my lips once they stop feeling so inflated:heartpuls baby no3 due 16th November :heartpulsTEAM YELLOWDFD 16/6/10"Shut your gob!
