Thanks... of course I'll post some photos, if I can pin down a bloody photographer. It's a bit of a saga, we had a friend who shoots album covers doing it, but he's suddenly had to go off on some trip somewhere. So at short notice I'm a bit stuck. I do have 2 people in reserve who are available but they want the best part of £1000 which is far too much money for some pictures. So, I'm still searching and as I've only got 10 days I need to get something sorted. Promise I will have some photos for you all though

    Snags, I've sent you a PM. x

    Morning all.

Well I stayed the same at Slimming world last night  But we think we may have solved the problem, apparently I am not eating enough!!!!! I thought I was eating like a pig, but apparently it's the wrong things. We worked out that by the time I had had salads, fruit and loads of veg I was hardly eating anything that my body could burn off. So it was just storing everything.

So the plan is.... to eat MORE!!!! So this morning for breakfast I munched on:

Toast, 2 x fried eggs, 2 x Quorn sausages and some tinned spagetti.

I have pasta and new potatoes for lunch and loads of fruit to snack on (it's ok, so long as I eat other things as well) I've been banned for having weetabix for breakfast everyday as he didn't think that this would be helping either. So I have a new eating plan in place and I will let you know if it works.

How do these sound for evening meal options:

Homemade Carbonara or Quorn Burger with SW chips and beans/salad? I'm trying to think of things that stick to the plan, but do not include masses of salad stuff.

weighed in today at 15st 10lbs... so still at 18lbs lost... however i have been up and down the last 4 weeks so i am happy hopefully it will start creeping back down now  but i have brought my first ever dress, i look ugly in it i think however i am sure it will be fine, my work collegues want me to wear it at one off my work collegues 60th birthday meal but i am not sure yet, i would like to wear a skirt but that may define the waist? no good at things like this as i am usually just in trousers :o however i did dig out the skirt i wore to my sisters wedding just over 2 years ago to try on, now when we brought it i could only just fit into it... its a size 24  lets just say it wont stay up now :rotfl:

    anyways where is everyone?

    Confession time for me :o

We've had a birthday in the house - my DD is 12 today so we've had a weekend of naughty things to eat.

I haven't put any weight on though, so back to it from tomorrow. I'm determined to get to 22lbs before the lovely Lenny comes home.

Hey Superpap - had been wondering where you were! Sorry you've been a bit down, been a bit like that myself lately.

Trying to 'pull myself together' and felt a bit better yesterday (or maybe the prozac is kicking in now!). Thought i would get up and do Billy Blanks this morning and instead I am on here! Oh well, its just as good as a work out.

Losing weight has turned into a non starter for me, but I am not too concerned. I think I have other 'issues' I need to deal with at the mo. Work being the main one. I lost my confidence last year following my losing of my job on maternity leave followed by another job where the boss totally put me down. I found I couldn't go into work at all last week (self employed so no pay!).

I am going to work today (and hoping they still want to give me work!) Think I have let them down a little.

Anyway enough waffle about me. I think you should wear the dress SP! Can you get an honest opinion off someone who is not a work colleague.

Spud, well done on the weight loss so far! I am impressed... Don't worry about the naughty weekend. I think the 80/20 rule is good for these circumstances... If you are good for 80% of the time you can let go for 20% of the time. (i think thats what it is).

Sending Paul in the post today, but I have to confess I can't find the cover! LOL must have tidied it up!)

  • Morning all!

Well I had a really good weekend food wise. I've eaten loads of free food and I am feeling really good.

Not sure what I am going to be having for dinner. But I am just off to the Slimming world website to have a look and see if I feel inspired to cook anything.

Hope everyone is having a good day x
