Sorry to hijack the thread, but thought I would share my good (I think !) news with you all for once!

Got to work today after having a week off (not being able to face going in) when they gave me an appraisal, said they were really pleased with me and offered me full time employment. (I am self-employed at the mo!)

Not sure what this means - more money, study leave, sick pay, holiday pay etc, but it has given my self confidence a boost no end.

Ha! I only used the paul mckenna cd once and look whats happened!!!!!!

BTW Spud, its winging its way to you now!!

Love to all, hope you have all had a good day!

    Sammy

Wow well done Sammy. I'll let you know if it works as well for me :D

BTW, I also lost my job last year after being there 19 years. My confidence was never great, but this nearly finished me off completely. I'm now in a completely different career (from office job to teaching assistant - how the heck did that happen  ) and I love it. Confidence still isnt great as a result of last year, but I'm getting there slowly.

PAP - wear what YOU want to wear hun ;)

Well done Sammy for going back into work after feeling like you haven't been able to face it, and fantastic news about the job!

Sea, good luck for your weigh in, and Spud, you are doing amazingly!! Pap, do we have a decision on the dress yet? I think you should wear whatever you feel most confident in, no matter what anyone else thinks.

Haven't quite finished reading back yet, so apologies to anyone I've not mentioned!
