When you're younger you're more enthusiastic about what you're doing - so the bad parts of it are more easily forgotton, and weigh less upon you.

Of course I've been a die-hard cynic forever, so it's always been hard for me... ;)

I've been behaving strangely enough. Tried some of my ice-cream tonight (HM) but only one scoop.

    It's very coconutty... :D

Mmmmm home made coconut ice-cream sounds yummy. Banana is my personal fav though so if you're going to make that I expect an invite :j

Don't like banana, so that'll never happen... ;):p

    I do:

    Rum and rasin.
    Coconut. (without malibu this time)
Mint and choc-chip (actually grated chocolate and creme de menthe)

Won't be doing any for a while though - freezer is full...

Please don't make me kick you snaggles, that means I have to lift a leg and right now I'm wondering how I'm going to make it up 2 flights of stairs to bed:rotfl: I could possibly manage a slap though.

Yeah, a slap would probably do the trick...lol.

Maybe it is aunt flo, that certainly looks like a menu she's written, although I didn't spot a family bag of revels and a large fruit and nut in there:rotfl:

Have you got any clothes which you love but are too small? I keep an old favourite dress on mine hanging on the wardrobe door so it's the first thing I see when I wake up. It does give me a little push to try hard so I can fit into it again.

No, everything's too big, which is :j but also a bit  - although....let me get this right.....are you giving me permission to go and buy a new outfit (strictly as a dietary aid of course)?

Hello peeps! Haven't been posting for a while as was off on some work course and since then have come back home and am literally fighting my little madam of a daughter for the dam computer! Anyhooos, back now! Have managed to loose a bit more since my little blip! Grand total loss of 4 1/2 lbs since the start of the challenge which is all good! I find it very hard to loose weight when I get very near my target weight but imagine this is the same for many, just keep thinking about the total weight loss (before this challenge) started and how I am amazed that it hasn't all crept back on! Has started with my half marathon training schedule now so hope that will help with the weight loss! Am on my second week and all going great! Woo Hoo! When I get back from work I will try and catch up with all these posts! Hope everyone is all good! Take care, love the kebabmeister! xxx

morning all......bit bleary eyed this morning.

breakfast today - big jug of banana and strawberry smoothie
lunch - egg roll and yoghurt
    dinner - faggots and potatos.

Broke my little food blender this morning, so i'm off to the vouchers board. I got it as as freeby so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the code is still available although I managed to make the smoothie in a big jug with my stick blender.

Can I put in a special order for cherry icecream with a chocolate sauce ripple please Z? Calorie-free obviously! ;)

sigh.........I'm feeling quite down today and i'm gritting my teeth very hard not to get in the car and go to the supermarket and spend money (which has always been my weakness money wise, the 'thrill' of buying food is a weird weakness but one that has drained my purse on many occasions over the years).

i'm bored I think, although I shouldn't be. I escaped an appallingly bad work situation in May and I now have a healthy bank balance, savings, ISA etc following redundancy as well as a further 'settlement' payment and I'm in a situation financially I could only dream of at some points in my life.

I'm doing AQA full time which is ok, if a bit slow some days. It is paying the bills and putting food on the table. I shouldn't be complaining. Working from home is good as I can come and go as I please and do what I want when I want.

I don't really want to go back 'out there' to get a job at the moment, but I have looked a couple of times online for a job in the mornings to break up the day and then do AQA in the afternoon, but there isn't much out there other than cleaning or telelsales. I need to find the motivation and the confidence to start thinking about setting up my own business but each day keeps rolling into the next without me having the focus or the 'umph' to sit down and properly think what to do.

    Maybe I'm just tired.

I'm supposed to be going out for drinks tomorrow night with a couple who have quit their jobs and set sail for a year next week around Europe. And I just can't be bothered to go. I won't know some of the people there. i'm not envious or anything, I just can't be bothered. I want to go out, but I don't have the confidence or the motivation.

i'm trying foodwise but I haven't been too wonderful, I've picked. I've had today so far

    2 small bananas
    2/3 punnet strawberries
    1/2 pint skimmed milk
    2 toffee yoghurts

    1 pitta bread
    2 dairylea triangles

    2 egg yolks
    2 bread rolls

might go and see what that adds up to. Might make me feel better (or worse!)

Edit: 1100 calories so far. Could have been worse I guess.
