Spud, don't you dare drop out.....you've lost 8lbs, that's fab - much better than I'm doing!! You've got plenty to concentrate on with your courses so don't worry too much about the dieting - but make sure you pop on for a chat every now and again cos we miss your funny posts!

Ok, all of you who've ever dealt with an estate agent in this country, how many times has an agent been out, taken video on her mobile phone for you, emailed it across and then said, if you're going to offer go in nice and low because some of the carpets look a little worn in places??

I've had the inspection report, that looks much better than the first one. So, now, I need to wait for Lee to see it, offer...get my inspection done,pay, move. Easy eh?

And another thing, I had to open a US bank account today, no application form, just email over your passport, here's the account number, fund it and we'll send you your cheque book and cards. How much agro is opening a bank account here? Doesn't seem right to me, but that's how it is over there so OH keeps telling me. He's been moaning about all of the bloody paperwork in this country since I've known him, now I'm getting a feel for what he's on about.

good to see its all coming together... how quickly could you move if you offer and buy, is it quite quick over there compared to here? do you own your house here? will you sell that or just rent it?

I sold back in January Pap, used the money to clear debt and the rest into savings. Now we're selling the business (which caused all of the debt in the first place) and with the cash we're buying a new house.

I'm not rushing actually moving, we have visas to sort out, but also I need to get my youngest into a special school. House/visa comes first after that we can start organising schools and the other stuff. We have a choice of visa we could go over on an entertainers visa, or a business one. I dunno, we have an immigration lawyer on the case.

sorry toto i am affraid to say that i dont know much about your debt/sitiuation (have you got a diary here somewhere i can read?)... sounds great to me though... i suppose with you being self employed i suppose its quite easy as to when you move but as you say there is no rush...

well as for me being ill ~ shall i tell you the extent of what i have eaten today ~ i have gone on a right binge and now i feel as sick as ever and i am on a high from the suger so cant sleep :rotfl: ready
