Aww Sammy, is there anything we can do, anything at all?
I hate that you feel so low, I know exactly how you feel. Please, if you feel able, share your troubles with us xxxxxxxx
Dieting can wait and is the least thing you should be worrying about, you need time for yourself by the sounds of it.0 -
Sammy (((hugs))), you sound really down - don't worry about the dieting, losing a few pounds isn't that important in the grand scheme of things, and if it's making you feel worse just stop. Why don't you have a week off, but keep chatting to us on here, and then take stock and see if you feel up to joining back in then? You know where we are if you need to talk xxx
Weller, I do weightwatchers but I haven't joined, I bought the books from weightwatchers direct, and acquired a points finder off a friend, but you can get them cheaply off ebay.
All I've got is:
Weightwatchers Shopping Guide
Weightwatchers Eating Out Guide (example of both shopping & eating out guide here)
Weightwatchers Point Finder.....can be found cheaply on ebay (example here)
You need to know how many points you can have - I have a friend who goes to the classes so can find this out for you quite easily (depends on lifestyle etc), but as a guide its approximately:
Under 10 stone 18 points
10-12 stone 20 points
12-14 stone 22 points
14-16 stone 24 points
16-18 stone 26 points
18-20 stone 28 points

Argh, had a bad day today. For the first time since starting this I've felt hungry constantly. However.... maybe I just don't recognise what being hungry actually feels like. Today's the first day to myself I've had in a couple of weeks so I've not had much filling my day. So maybe I've actually been bored rather than hungry. Does that make sense? How can I tell the difference?!
Anyway, here's my dismal list
no breakfast
lunch was pork, granary mini baguette, cherry tomatoes
raspberry cream pastry thing
fruit corner yoghurt
dinner of smoked haddock fishcake and salad
and I've just had a frozen yoghurt thing!
That's rubbish actually. Probably undone all the good work I'd done last week. Must do better!
Weller, my aunt does Slimming World without going to the classes, she bought the books and that off ebay and just runs it herself. It's slow going she says, but works.DFW Nerd #104 I :heartpuls my Kittenand my hat :heartpuls

Hey - that's not that bad!! I've had all my usual stuff plus 4 chedder cracker things and 4 jaffa cakes. AND I needed to be good to make up for all the other badness! I really don't think you've gone far off the diet wagon at all and maybe needed a little day of freedom.

Thanks Sea
reading it back, it's not actually all that bad is it? Not compared to what I used to put away anyway! Anyway, I've made tomorrow's lunch and it's more pork with salad. And the rest of the pork will be tomorrow night's dinner. Can anyone guess what I bought from shopping today? That's right....a ready cooked pork joint :rotfl:

Aaaahhh !!!!!!!!!!!!{hugs}}}}}} to snaggles and Weller...
Don't worry about me, I am okay really... I think going away and coming back has done my head in. I was quite positive before I went away (and organised) and then having a week off with no kids and no OH, but conversely spending time with someone who is quite ill (emotionally and physically) was quite draining, but I don't think I realised until I came back.
I spent too much money and ate too much, so I have come back and am now beating myself up about it.
BUT - I do have a lot to be positive about - I have a contract for work and I have a meeting about some more work later this week, giving my old job up was the best thing I ever did. And I am slowly getting back into my routine.. I find if I don't keep to my daily housework routine I slip into lazy ways.
Hope all of this makes sense.Quality is doing something right when no one is looking - Henry Ford

Seems we didn't have a great weekend between us, but another week dawns and big applause to anyone weighing in with a loss today.
I'm at the coughing like a dog stage of the cold. I'm looking after my joint custody dog at the moment so it's two walks a day with him for a couple of days.
