Ok, I've got to ask, what the hell are aduki beans and Keema Curry? is keema posh for chicken?
Breakfast was coffee and museli
snack was a cappuccino in town
Lunch - salad with keema beans and aduki curry... just trying to sound as if I eat fancy things too. Ok, lunch is tuna salad:rotfl:
Dinner - spag bol too, home made!!!
Thanks for the welcome everyone...ok as for aduki and keema...
Aduki beans are a little red bean with a sweet and nutty flavour.
Keema - is a general term for minced meat (beef in my case) e.g. Keema Nan (this is my understanding anyhoo, feel free to correct me).
And as for being a nutter...I'll leave that to you guys n gals to figure out!!!;)DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 201

BUT...I'm Proud to be dealing with my debt.0 -
I'm back
It went really well at the doctors - details on the other thread so I don't bore you all with it, but I'm surprised and pleased at the outcome, and feel really proud of Stu. I know things will work out now, if he is willing to make what, for him, is an enormous effort to put things right. I love him to bits, the daft apeth (I don't know what that means, but it's what my Gran would have said lol!).
Do you know, now I'm not working, I think my typing is going downhill - I just spelled 'enormous' with a double 's' and 'proud' with an extra 'h' and an 'n'!!??!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
And you just had to eat them
I'm jealous :rotfl:

Arrgghh, my post just got eaten by the forum gremlins....anyone else keep getting weird messages about the forum needing urgent maintainance and not being available till 3am?
Anyway, slightly off topic, but to cheer us up after our chat last night we took this video of Natasha, our 'ladylike' little girl.....and yes, those noises at the start ARE her, and ARE what they sound like lol!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -

hiya Toto, keema is a a curry made with mince (any type), it often has potato and peas in it as well and aduki beans are just a type of bean, they look like baby kidney beans. I bought a huge bag for 15p so i've soaked some overnight. I'm going to do a curry with them, there should be enough for 4 portions so I can freeze the rest. 100g dry weight is 250 calories, so a quarter plus the peppers/spinach/onion and spices will come to about 100 calories per portion."Stay Wonky":D

Ahh thanks, you live and learn eh, I thought I'd heard the keema thing relating to meat, I wasn't far wrong, it's posh for beef type stuff:rotfl:
The beans sound nice actually. I would say I'd try some but if they're poisonous unless you soak them etc, I think it's safer if I stick to tins of kidney beans. Sounds like a nice low calorie meal though, do they 'um how to put this' give you the gas? If so, there's no way I'm making it with OH here :rotfl::A
