I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at your friends problem and I totally understand that eating disorders are an illness etc so I don't want people to think I'm belittling it.

But that has proper made me laugh! :o :rotfl:

Hi all! Had crunchy bran this morning :)

Well done on the 2.5lbs PAP - are you going to weigh on the Boots scales every week?

    Sea xx

hi sea, no i dont think so as i couldnt find boots scales, i used the ones in work in the end, i am hoping to 'find' the one in boots before monday as i am not in work for a week starting friday. Payday next friday i will get a new set, they are all far to technical for me though ~ any suggestions?

well done on the 2.5 pap and hope the work thing goes ok.

    good luck everyone!

thanks keren, anythings a bonus but i will say this (might tempt fate but) the work trousers i have on now are a very very small 20 and were purchased (around 2 months ago) from a shop i only just fitted into, well them are hannging off me and i now have to turn the waste band in order for them to stay up :o i really want to lose it on my face though not my waist

anyways the work thing, yes it was fine, he laughed although i was sat up all night worrying  i will tell you all now ~ a customer dropped a dome from a cake stand, you know the fancy ones on a pedestal with a clear dome on top. Well the dome was plastic and a dear old lady was faffing and i said 'do you want me to hold that?' she answered 'no' i turned away and she dropped and cracked it big stylee :o the problem is it was less than 4 weeks old :( anyways he laughed and said i was daft as it was old anyway and was transferred down from another store, anyways we are still using the base :) but did i half worry

Now you know I've been having trouble drinking water (tap water) well I've found a way to drink it that is very DFW.

If you get a lemon or lime or maybe any other fruit, cut it up into small pieces and add it to water in your ice cube tray, freeze it and you then have posh ice cubes. then when frozen add to your water and you have a very refreshing cold tap water drink (one lemon and one lime made 38 cubes yesterday).

    Just an idea

weller love that idea :) i drink bottled water (my only vice and brought while on offer ~ 12 2litre bottles for £3.49) but i think i will use this idea, very smart thanks hug.gif

Don't worry ss - i had to laugh myself, otherwise I might have cried. It was me who sat there at mealtimes with the tiny plate of food and my friend three plates of food. I am sure people must have been looking and thinking fat bird, no food, thin bird loads of food!!!!!!!!!

Although I was the ONLY ONE in the 24 hour buffet asking for burger chips and gravy at four in the morning (twice please!):rotfl:

I am actually thinking of writing a book now, my holiday with the anorexic and the 24 hour buffet. (please no one be offended - its not meant to upset but humour has been the only way to deal with a really bad situation)

Pap, well done on the loose trousers! :D

It doesn't really matter what sort of scales you get, as long as you use the same ones each time, and weigh yourself at the same time of day.

Glad your boss was understanding, although from the sound of things it wasn't your fault anyway.

    You're doing great, keep going!!

    Hi Weller, snags, Keren

Good to be back - not been very DFW either. I ran up a drinks bill of £160 (oops) I knew I should have gone drink inclusive. I was restrained until I drank too many woo woos. And I pulled - it was just a shame that two were gay and one was 15!! (its alright - I only let him rest his head on my shoulder when he passed out drunk)
