Do you know what, I've been reading and thinking, I know you can't quite believe it but I have
and one thing has stood out for me on this thread - that it isn't just about losing the weight, its about getting to know each other and forming friendships and the support, whether weight issue or other, is amazing and I really feel now, if I didn't before (but I did) that people do care and people will not judge you and I don't know of anywhere else that I could open up like I do and get the support and advice and friendship like I do on this thread. Its brought us all together and I am grateful for that, very grateful.
So we all need to pat ourselves on the back :T :T :T

btw i just wondered what you thought of this ~ http://www.dietandfitnessresources.co.uk/diets/diet_plate/female.htm gimick or worth the £20 or do you think you could find a simmaler 'plate' on the internet for free?
Ooooh, not sure PAP - its a lot of money for a plate  . You could buy a whole dinner service for that :rotfl: I've started using a dessert plate that cost 99p from BHS, its smaller than a dinner plate and bigger than a side plate ITMS and it works for me. just have to give myself smaller portions as bigger ones won't fit on the plate then I feel like I have a big tea cos its full and I've started waiting 30 seconds or so between swalllowing and taking the next mouthful and I feel fuller and don't want to eat as much0 -

ohh thanks weller, i have tryed the whole chewing 20 times before swallowing but thats hard to do when reading a book, hence the soup for dinner :rotfl: i think that plates gimmicky too :rotfl: just wanted to see what you all thought of it... :rolleyes:0 -
chewing didn't work for me - just made me fed up and felt like I couldn't swallow. Waiting 30 seconds or so is easy when you're reading a book, I read loads and its working for me :T
Edit: forgot to add when i;m not cheating that is *bad girl* but its sooooo hard0 -
hey i'm in the same boat with the losing 4 stone still being obese bit was shocked and to be honest i have ate nothing but crap for the last three days will need to get my finger out i think ...looking at that plate pap i'm thinking no not for me anyway it seems like something you would use for a baby i know it tells you portions etc but for it to work for me i would have to use it for the rest of my life and dont fancy taking it to a restuarant (if ever i can afford to go again) pap have you heard of the paul mckenna way of eating? i find that works when i can remember to do it0

I lost quite a lot of weight after watching the Paul McKenna programmes that were on a couple of years ago too - it made so much sense to me.....and I still can't eat fried rice from the chinese after using one of his exercises to stop myself craving it! I'd try it with chocolate or chips but I'm scared it might stop working if I use it on any other foods."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Right, I've just put Natasha to bed on her own for the first time - normally she stays down here with us until we go up, but tonight she fell asleep at 8pm, so we thought we'd put her in her moses basket upstairs with the monitor on.
I feel really anxious and in need of chocolate..
DON'T let me eat any!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
