Pap you've got to stop looking at the big picture, you need to focus on little steps, a bit like debt reduction. So, break it down to lose 5lb targets, 5 lbs is a lot easier to get your head around than X stones. If you focus on the number of stones you're much more likely to feel disheartened and give up. You don't need special plates or any of the other diet claptrap the weight loss industry will tell you is essential. All you need is a bit of self belief and the support of your friends. Remember, we're in this together, pound by pound, inch by inch. And for the record we love you just the way you are, whatever that stupid BMI thing says.

Right, I've just put Natasha to bed on her own for the first time - normally she stays down here with us until we go up, but tonight she fell asleep at 8pm, so we thought we'd put her in her moses basket upstairs with the monitor on.

I feel really anxious and in need of chocolate.. :(

DON'T let me eat any!! :o

Step away from the choccie and go and get a relaxing soak in the bath, then get hubby to give you a lovely massage. Enjoy your evening together, cuddle up and have a date. How's that?

chillando.gif just reading through articles on weightlossresources and once i have lost 4 stone i will still be classed as obese with regards to my bmi  :o:confused: :rotfl:

Don't worry about that. BMI is a load of crap. I've never liked it.

    This man.
    T641783A.jpg

    Full Name Jonah Tali Lomu
Date of Birth 12 May 1975
Place of Birth Auckland, New Zealand
    Height 1.96m (6' 5")
    Weight 119kg
    Position Wing

    His BMI?

    Your BMI result is:

    31.24

You are in the range that is classified as obese and your health would greatly benefit from a life-long reduction in weight.

I take no notice of prats like that, I found the whole thing pretty funny but thank you for being a sweetie. I will take a photo of the dress when it gets here. I'm really excited, OH knows i bought one and he's nagging for me to show him but that's asking for trouble.

This seems to be happening more and more. Things seem to come up in waves.

A plague of Trolls. Then a rash of prats...
