Feeling a bit apprehensive about the scales tomorrow even though I've been good. I sneaked on yesterday and they said I had gained a pound which is impossible, but also very silly thing to do because I know the mantra only 'weigh yourself once a week' back to front and inside out.

    Today I'm going for

    waffles and beans
    cheese, potato and bean bake
sausage, med. veggies and potato bake

You will do. Have you been trying hot/cold compresses? Ibuprofen gel? Also - and I didn't tell you this - beer can help.

It is very nice. But a bit *wowsers* on the price...

Take care - don't strain yourself.

Thanks Z, I haven't tried hot cold compresses or the gel but as I have a day off today I'm going to try to get this thing sorted.

I know it's an expensive dress, but it looks even nicer in real life :o I'd never pay $5300 for it though, that's just brainless. I'm sure I'll get the bulk of my money back when I sell it on though. Am I excused? The girls understand :rotfl:

I feel the same keren, I'm sure I'll have gained this week. I'm thinking of eating nothing but carrots this weekend. I've not been near my weightwatchers online to put in my daily points. Not only have I not had the time but it'd be horrible, I'll have a weeks worth to make up. I'm def not going near the scales until monday.

I think its the luck of thr draw with customs tax - a couple of years ago I went through a phase of buying the gals clothes bundles from the US through eBay - I got *copped* for the tax on about 50% of them - fingers crossed your lucky :)

karen - your a bad, bad girl, I would never do something likr that :o - seriously though, put it out of your head and dont even think about it again until weigh day ;)

You know that chow mein I was gonna have, no chips & no rice..........................

I'm still not 100% and havent actually been up long, the massive amount of leep has helped loads but brekkie has gone out of the window - I have NO IDEA what I am gonna eat today but I must try and be good.

Me & the gals are gonna make tomato soup and a marshmallow chocolate thing later though so I shall have to try and keep my hands off the later :)

Does anybody know of any fatfree (well, as near as) evening meals that are filling that I can have though one problem I can't eat veg. I think thats where I'm slipping up as i had been eating these lightly seasoned chicken breats and boiled potatoes every day and then it got to the stage that I was gipping whilst trying to eat them.

Any ideas welcome please if you would be so kind :o

Do you like pasta weller? I make this dead easy pasta thing, which is basically linguine with a pot of tomato and basil soup poured over it, some mushrooms and a sprinkle of low fat cheese/parmesan. It's dead filling and not too bad on the calorie/fat front.

Other than that, I'll shut up now because we all know the extent of my kitchen abilities.

    Thanks Tig and Toto

Will try both of those, sound very tasty.

Should I use packet sauce mix for the spag bol or a jar of sauce.

Can you buy low fat cheese?

    Weller -

    a few of my favs:

Chicken, cut up, with tinned toms, loads of pasta, mixed up with a sprinkling of finely grated cheese (I use mature for the taste and use 28g which actually producing quite a lot when finely grated).
Baked potatoes with variety of fillings - tuna mayo (light mayo), chicken mayo, beans, cottage cheese, humous (not fat free but yummy and good for you!), chilli (mince, with a little chilli and tinned toms) can have with rice or chips (HM- sliced up potatoes and baked in oven).

Spag bol - tinned tomatoes, a stock cube, onion, garlic, puree if a little thin, mixed herbs, add the dry fried mince - hey presto - Spag Bol!
