Hi,
I don't want to bump this thread so pls excuse if it appears that I am...but my wife and I are currently following the WW plan and I must admit I've put myself on diets before with no particular effect this one has been sooooo different...you're all doing really well keep up the good work.
My main point for jumping in with both feet is the ole chow mein / chinese food debate...from what I've read of the WW stuff the plain ole chicken and mushroom dish is good you can add about half a tub of rice and you're still in relatively good territory points wise...add some stif fried veg if you're still hungry...
If any of you are struggling and need a relatively healthy recipie for a classic let me know we've got a load of WW cookbooks which cover a range of dishes.
Cheers.
P.S. total weight loss so far (2 months...) 1 stone...just another 5 to go! well after another 2.5 stone loss I get to reapply to the special constables which is my main aim at the minute!!!!DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 201

Thanks el. I bought it, ok it was a bit more expensive than I first thought but I'm pleased I got it, nothing else I've seen looked as nice on as that one. And in true MSE style no doubt I'll sell it on.
I'm about to head home to bed now, I promise to catch up with everyone tomorrow when I get up. I'm dreading the scales this week, I might just forget to weigh in on monday:D:A

Do let us know when you get it! Is it in your size now or are you trying to lose weight for it? (size 10!!)

brilliant news i'm so pleased for you you will look stunning (i'm sure you always do)
well so far today i have had shredded wheat with flaxseed oil, seed mix and soya milk lunch not decided yet but a fruit yoghurt thing probably and dinner might have another chinese i'm now incredibly grateful we did the chinese course can eat it as often as i want (although sometimes too often) but the way we have it it is totally healthy0 -
Thanks everyone, I am a size 10-12, which I know seems small but as I've said before I'm dead tiny under all of the spare wobbly bits. My normal size is 6-8 without looking too waif like. I will probably need a few alterations, no doubt it'll be too long.
I had a horrible thought this morning though, what about customs? I bought a piece of equipment from the states for £300 and we had to pay £60 in customs fees. If she sends it fully insured up to the $5000 value  the fees will be awful. I wish I'd thought of that yesterday. Oh well, it's paid for now so I'll just have to cross that bridge when I come to it.
It was a bit hit and miss if I'd win it to be honest, we had just finished work and I was bidding on my mobile phone, never done that before. I can log in here but haven't figured out how to post yet, that's next on my list.:A
