You can buy a Kaspersky Internet Security 5 User licence for £14 or less.

Of course you can use the free trial of 30 days to see if it affects the performance of your machines beforehand.
Netbooks should be upgraded to 2GB RAM anyway, but I'm not sure that you can with the Happy Netbook range.

Kaspersky has specific Exploit Protection which monitors vulnerable applications for suspicious behaviour.
Useful for those who don't know for what to watch out.
You can also use Kaspersky's Safe Money component instead of Rapport.

    They're actually incompatible.

I think the general idea is to get rid of Rapport. :)

Yeah, its DDR3 which is cheap as chips. Looking at £6-7 for a 2GB stick.

Its okay, we've gone with AVG Free.

The bank we use wont allow new Payee's without the use of a Card Reader and a response from you. Unless they can clone my card, then clone my card reader, then I think we will be okay..

Why oh why do people use these free anti virus set ups ???? get some proper antivirus, pay for it and then you will be ok

Unless its Norton AntiVirus which will take your computer over and then take hours to boot-up.

Of course the best way is not to use windows at all.
Do you want your money back, and a bit more, search for 'money claim online' - They don't like it up 'em Captain Mainwaring

The basics have always been if you click on something your AV may not have been updated . Your AV maker may not have caught up with newly released stuff .
Even the cleverest techie can get caught out no matter what they are using unless its a sandbox .
But a good backup system is critical and allows rolling back to a clean machine in under half an hour .
As the saying goes KISS .
I have only ever used two AV suites both are long term consistently in the top three of AV Comparatives testing .
    ESET and Kaspersky .
