    Friday 28th March, 2014.

    Dear Diary,

Well, it seems I spoke too soon about my deal yesterday, it fell through this morning leaving me very miserable for a few hours as it seems nothing I can do is right at the moment. However, this afternoon I managed to pull myself out of the black hole I had got myself into and have had the most productive eBay day in a very long time. Here's hoping for some sales!

On the negative side it appears our financial position is getting worse every day my wife decides to spend her afternoons shopping. A few months ago I would not have thought twice about spending on credit but now the mere thought of owing anymore money makes me feel ill. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Mrs. K.

    Summary:
    -£16.00 Groceries.
    -£? Mrs. K. shopping trip.

    Yours Faithfully,
    Alex.

No. It's sunny where you are isn;t it? Go for a walk with Little K and see the baa lambs. You WILL come back in a better mood. Then check your ebay sales - has the cabinet got bids on it? :D.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Yes, it's sunny. He's gone with his mother to pick a mother's day gift for the dreaded mother-in-law who we've got to visit later. As for eBay, yes a few things have bids including the cabinet. :)

Well, I survived the "playing happy families" trip to the in-laws.

  • Mrs K. needs a hobby. Shopping isn't a hobby.

HBS: Try telling Mrs. K. that. :rotfl: She ended up spending £80 on mother's day. All she could go on about at the in-laws was her latest purchases and her indecision over grey or Estoril blue for her new car, they seem pleased she's "back on track" financially and all "without me". Sorry, I'm rather bitter today.

lucielle: Impressed isn't the word that comes to my mind; her family have little money, as a consequence they do not "waste" it.

On a better note, I've got a potential Sunday deal to be had. :)
