Well done on that £1k sale! That will really help!

    Thank you. :)

Great news on the eBay sale! Woo hoo!!

Sorry Mrs K is finding work tough at the moment. It must be hard to re-adjust when you've had a long time of different arrangements. By what you say though she is well qualified and respected in her industry so hopefully there are options available to her should she choose to make any changes.

Out of eBay sale, which only serves to make it that bit sweeter. :)

As for my wife; there's much more going on that more hours and in many ways she's feeling a bit left in the dark by the powers that be (so are others). Then there is the fact her interesting projects have finished, with the new ones being "boring" and her dealings with Mr. Awkward Contractor didn't help either situation. I think if she decides to jump ship, it shouldn't be too difficult for her on the positive side.

Oops sorry! That's great, no nasty fees to pay! :j

Whatever Mrs K decides to do I'm sure you'll be there to support her along the way which will be a great help. :)

    I try my best.

Not sure today is going to be productive for me after the last few days. Really do feel like taking a day off (well as much of a day off as possible), here's hoping it doesn't turn into a week of doing as little as possible. :o

I think we all have spells at work that we want to say phuq it and throw in the towel, but we get over it. Boring & bad weeks are part of life, Its not all a bowl of M&Ms.

Tell Mrs K to keep her head down for a week or so till it all blows over and things will slide back into normality.

Good news on the non-ebay sale, Hope the F&F people get back to you with an answer soon, so you can get that money paid across before it burns a hole in your pocket :)
Its just a bad day, Not a bad life ..

    She'll be OK. :)

Yes I hope they'll get back soon too, I'd feel a bit better about it all if something where paid.

I've got some other things to put on eBay today (actually starting to hope they sell rather than hoping no body has a bid) :rotfl:. However, I am once again beginning to feel rather inadequate after Mrs. K. rang telling me about the Caribbean cruise the receptionist at work's husband is taking her on over Christmas.

  • And how much debt are they going into for that? Or is it his present to her? Has he been saving up?

It's just a holiday *shrug* can't remember the last time I had one, most of the time they're a waste of money IMO! Tell Mrs K. she can have her sunshine holiday when your debts are PAID and you have SAVED UP for it.

HBS: They're always going somewhere nice, he works in London during the week - something to do with finance, which from what we can make out pays very well. So, I doubt they are getting themselves into debt.

As for us we are not going on holiday in 2014 but we have said we'll save towards going somewhere nice in 2015 and (for once) it will be paid in full. :)
