Today I have lost something that someone sent me for work. They rang today to pay and I realised it was lost. I am now cleaning and tidying the office in the hope said item turns up. It is not looking good so far..... off to do more tidying and hoovering!
I have already warned the person item is lost but I feel so inefficient, I cannot imagine what has happened to it. There is only me and feral cat here!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Can you look out for OH's glasses please? He used them to read the manual when pumping up my tyres on Sunday, and they haven't been seen since.

I lost my driving licence inside the house - took me a week to find it. And now I've lost the adapter plus I need for my new electric toothbrush. And I know that's inside the house as well. You're not alone, Watty!2023: the year I get to buy a car3

@Slinky No sign of those glasses. Or the lost sample. Tomorrow I shall need to phone and own up.
After another look today I settled down to some work, meals have been really simple of cold meat and a mixture of salads from a place I had coffee with girlfriends Wednesday. They do a "bento" box which is a mixture of all the salads they sell, a way of using up veggie ends and so on. Delicious and I would never make 8 different salads so it was rather wonderful and no effort.
Rather than catch up on work I made a Vision Board this evening. I love it. It was interesting what pictures from the pile I had been tearing out of magazines made the board. I have a couple of barn conversions as i still have that on my dream to do list, a rather wonderful pink sofa, a heading which reads "financially fabulous" and some pictures of cash and a clock which the base is again a bank of England note - it symbolises to me time and the money to do what I want. Then there are fun pictures of horses, cartoon horses having fun and my dream new horsebox with a garden bench and some plants and a couple of nature pics. That would be my ideal life so it is now all on the vision board.
A simple uncluttered life of freedom and horses.
There is also a cartoon first rosette which isn't so much about winning with the horses but about putting this life and me first.
As I look it at I realise I do actually have this life, but the Vision Board just elevates it to the next level, one of joy, pleasure and fun.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Wattydog is not on the vision board and may indeed be lucky to make it to lunchtime on his current behaviour!
He has spent the night protecting the house from perceived dangers (I have no idea what these are as I could see nothing). I stopped getting up and just checked the ring cameras in case me getting up was part of his fun.
This morning the window cleaners are here and the noise is deafening as he barks at them. I love him but my goodness he is a handful. I think he is probably just bored with me and the feral cat and the horses. He goes in and out but i work really hard in the office and he really does have a working dog mentality and really should be out putting his boundless energy to good use. Still we muddle on. i decided against the dog walker on grounds of cost (and the lack of effort put in) and bought a LED collar so each night we walk the local fields in the dark. I've come to love that time. The VNM has given up the idea of "dates" and accepts "dates" are now walking WattyDog a lot or going to places WattyDog can have fun. (We do the very odd date but really it has settled into a gentle pace of life of cooking and walking which we both seem happy with).
My vision board has plenty of green spaces for Wattydog to run and I think he will be just fine in the life although my proposed barn conversion is small so we will all need to spend time in the outside space. I will be "financially fabulous" though and can take him to agility and search sessions as well as have membership of the National Trust and tour their places, some dog friendly, some not. We will go and watch sheep dog trials and to county shows and ploughing matches. I have the life all planned, and then we will come home and sit in our orchard on our wooden bench with a cup of tea.
I have it all planned, and, now to work to make it happen!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

It occurs to me I should add a land rover car to the vision board for WattyDog to travel in. A new horsebox for the horses is on the board but currently Wattydog sometimes travels in my mini. The small 4x4 currently being used by the VNM as he sold his car and I couldn't decide which of mine to sell so he has one now LOL I think WattyDog deserves an old stylish Landrover. I will add a picture when I find oneMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
