I don't think so (having put some down about a couple of weeks ago) - but - you might need to water it if it stays really dry/gets really hot before it comes up.
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Truly deserving of all the handsome boy rosettes! What a sweetie!

Non rider but avid reader of all the Black Beauty books then follower of it all on TV circa 1970, oh and used to pretend back of sofa was my pony in order to re-enact all the above (not easy in 70s when sofas were vinyl and slacks were polyester ... lots of slipping off said pony and obviously couldn't wear a riding hat because my hair was on end for the generated static!) Anyhoo, all such experience renders me eminently qualified to share my judgement on your fine fella, Watty and I declare him gorgeous!

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments about handsome baby. Hbb you did make me laugh, the back of the sofa was my pony too as a child.
Alchemilla I put some grass seed down yesterday after scratching up the surface a bit and then watering it. Fingers crossed.

Also decluttered patio, a few empty cardboard boxes put out for recycling (59) and a bin full of fallen leaves and weeds etc filled and then everything that had accumulated there put away in rightful places (60).

We're still putting down grass seed here - but only patch repairs (super large (8m x 5m) tent left up for waaaaaay too long after re-sealing it and then heavy rain for a couple of weeks whilst it was up - and areas of lawn consequently destroyed - ooops!!)

I know I said no new clothes til after the mortgage is paid off - but - (here she goes with an excuse) last monday I bought a black dress via a website to wear to a funeral. I have nothing really suitable for funerals and this is the second one this year. Despite the decluttered wardrobe it is stressful trying to look suitably sombre. And so I finally decided that an inexpensive black dress was called for.

Funeral is today and delivery should have been Friday. It was in the sale and was only £7.49 .... it has half an hour to arrive ......... have opted for a back up plan of grey wool trousers and a grey cardigan despite sun as am anticipating a no-show from dress.
