Oh my goodness. I really love this ceremony. . I've bought a new (well old but new to me) gateleg table and I will use that as the alter. I will spend time really thinking about my intentions and then at the weekend I will do this.
Thank youMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Another one here hoping everything is OK? XXXI Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy2 -
Bless you all. Unsurprisingly I have had a really bad cold, sore throat, eczema has flared up and I am so tired. I am just about managing to work and get up to date. I have done little but watch TV from the comfort of my bed and work. Today I promised myself i would focus on work and that is going well. I took a couple of hours off to get my new will properly signed and witnessed. I used the lovely solicitor firm that helped me out when I was arrested. I think I am not their usual type of client. LOL I had to phone from outside and then a peek hole opened and then I was let in via some very heavy duty security doors to a very rough office. It just made me smile. The solicitor and his secretary were so lovely, he congratulated me on getting an injunction without a solicitor and said I'd saved myself a few £000s there. Here is the thing, they people were lovely. They remembered me, I felt cared about and that the work was in good hands. In contrast my very flashy family lawyer never once made me feel like that. Anyway i have a new will. And I feel that is a start.
I'm still struggling with the grief and the ending but each day I am stronger. And today I promised myself I would clear the work emails so I am back off to that now. A couple of hours this evening and I should be done. I don't want to spend my evening working but I feel happy enough to do so because this is my own future I am building now.

Wonderful @Watty1! Understandable that you crashed but the lawyers' compliments are spot-on! You are indeed building your future. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx5

You made a great step forward there, both with making a new will and using a solicitor you decided to trust (and your intuition immediately proving you right). Please don't overdo the work today, but getting up to date is a powerful thing, yes.2023: the year I get to buy a car6

You have all been such wonderful supports.
Today my plans are to ride Most Handsome and phone the council about the threatened legal action on the council tax. I will also reply to the ex's email asking what the latest from his conveyancing solicitor means (they have been told I won't pay anything until everything is resolved and it seems this didn't make sense to him!) I am astounded he thinks I will give him a large sum of money for him before he agrees the finer details, like the council tax It must be obvious to anyone that if I hand over the money he will never pay me for the bills he owes me. I suppose they don't like me holding any cards!

@Watty1 as ever, you are right! When someone shows you who they are, believe them...which is exactly what you're doing! You have such grip and are plainly wonderful fun to boot. Onwards and upwards love Humdinger xx7
