9 ebay parcels posted (45/365) 1 storage bag recyled (46/365) 2 coathangers thrown away (47/365).

Doctor says wrist is inflamed or damaged tendon and to get a wrist brace. Spent hours shopping for one when should have been working. Now falling behind. Couldn't find one small enough .....

Ouch that sounds very sore, but fixable! Can you get some bandages and do them up tight?

Hope your hand / wrist is better soon Watty - i have alot of the symptoms of the carpal thing - so its either that or my leg pain that i'll see the doc about next - just to get it cleared up i think mine's probably a trapped nerve or something i would think - am not worried either way. I've struggled with it for months though and when its bad i have struggled using my hand to open jars and things so i know how rubbish it can be to not have a properly working hand x

Well done on your sales and decluttering :T I have not kept track this year of all the things i have parted with but lots and lots and the house looks and feels better for it :T

    Dear Diary
Sorry I neglected you but my hand hurt lots and lots. Difficult doing anything over last 2 weeks.

Rode for first time yesterday and baby total sillybilly. Has forgot everything :rotfl:Instructor came over to give me a hand and the only good thing she could find to say was splint kept my right hand nice and still.Told her I wasnt getting a splint on the left one to keep that still!! :D

Not a great deal of MSE news as really just about all I have done is work. Sold old pony saddle on ebay though. Was really sorry to see it go as last remaining thing beloning to the little chestnut chap. Confess to shedding a tear as I still miss him.

But have no need of saddle. It is way to small for baby who I am now just off to lunge. That will teach him to be silly in his lessons :)

Baby was perfect to lunge. Am going to take him to his first ever show tomorrow. He's been to a couple of dressage competitions now to try a real show. Cant actually fit into showing jods so will probably not look the part. Baby filthy so wont look the part either I bet. But we are going anyway for the exerience.
Mr Watty going to drive lorry I've hired for the day.
Am also thinking of taking elderly fellpony and making it a day out.
Just the thing for a woman with hand trauma :)

Happy loading indeed Alchemilla. Started loading at about 7.30 am for a 25 minute drive to showground. Baby had what can only be described as a teenage strop and wouldn't go in lorry - would stand very happily on ramp but no way would he goo in lorry.

After much exasperation all round and Mr Watty lunging him, he finally walked on lorry and was quite suprised when we made walk off and start all over again.

Got to showground having missed ridden class I was planning on - which may have been a good thing as he was very strong in the in-hand class. Delighted to say he won the "Most Handsome" Gelding and was 3rd in the native class. Only popped him in the native class after a chat with the show sec who suggested it for him and she promised not to tell he is not actually a native :rotfl:only a part native (mum).

So we save the ridden showing for another day. But a nice day was had by all.

And he walked nicely on the lorry to come home (encouraged by a slap on the bum from Mr Watty who I think was keen to avoid another 2 + hours wait).

Took dog to local pub for nice evening meal. All in all lovely day.

What a bank holiday Monday in the Watty household. Mr Watty was out doing some hedge trimming and slipped on chain saw. Thankfully (a) chainsaw was only on idle - and - (b) he had someone with him. Very nasty cut to hand. Came into house yelling for first aid stuff.

In my haste to get bandages etc I slipped and fell on stairs. Didn't mention this as there was blood everywhere but I nearly passed out - not due to injury - but own pain.

Pal took Mr Watty to hospital as I can't drive due to hand pain. Luckily Mr Watty's hand not to bad and after being taped up he was sent home well bandaged. I've swallowed lots of arnica and have two massive lumps on shin and some very spectacular bruising and can't put anything on leg. Am fetchingly dressed in socks, one rolled down, thermal leggings one pulled up and a fleece.

We spent the rest of the afternoon on sofa watching films and reheated a frozen curry for dinner. And laughing.

No spend day. Nothing done day

    Tomorrows another day :)
