Great updates Watty - you sound like you're really getting back on MFW wagon. It's good to hear most handsome and kitten are doing well.

Hope the sleep situation improves soon.

quick check in. Lovely ride on most handsome today although sadly bruised a foot as was seeing if he could cope without his boots, and no, he could not. hopefully he will be better tomorrow.
And checked out the financials on the credit cards today, and, all have a credit balance on thanks to the returns being received and refunded. Phew. Just one refund to go back on a card and then that period is all straightened out.

Well done on getting those refunds refunded. They can take a lot of effort and determination.

Hi watty! I've had laptop problems, so couldn't join in with chatting on your updates. I'm so glad you're back - loving the animal updates too, I do love to hear about them.

Refunds are so important - I've had two recently cos of train tickets I bought and then couldn't use, it does help things go round.

You are all being kind. The refunds are from spending on my card whilst recently and then not being organised enough to send things back because I just couldn't cope. Certainly giving me more awareness of the whole mental health money management aspects. Very sobering. Tidying office this morning as well as tackling work backlog. Found a pair of trainers I should have sent back. Think it might be too late so will pop on ebay if it is.

Way too late to send trainers back so put those on ebay. Trying very hard to work this morning but a total lack of motivation and dog busy destroying door mat so not helping to the whole calm state of mind.

right tea drunk. Whilst tidying the office I found four files I have been sent to write reports on ...and for which I will be paid. So my challenge is to get those done today. I just feel bad about how muddled everything is so if I get those four done and sent away that would be good.

Sending good vibes your way, Watty, I know how challenging it is when everything feels overwhelming and insurmountable.

Similar to the debt payment motto of every 1p paid off is 1p that will never charge interest again...every bit of work done, however small, is progress towards all of it being done. :)

thanks hiddenshadow. A good point. Didn't get the four reports done as had a work related call from the Police and ended up being interviewed over phone in afternoon. Then had to write a report. That done I've asked a colleague to review the report ...and ... cancelled todays dental appointment as I felt I was just getting stressed over work. Today I've managed a fair chunk and written two of the reports. Just popped to the village for a mini bottle of wine which I am promising myself if I finish the last two reports this evening. I don't usually drink so ..... one glass of wine will go to my head I am sure :) not sure what that will do for my sleep but felt I needed some kind of a reward! now to get on with those last 2 files

Hi Watty, it is great to see you back on here. It is very easy for me to say please don't be a stranger when you are struggling but as I have been doing the same thing for months I would be a hypocrite. Many times I have written a post on my thread more for my own sake trying to put down why I am have been struggling but delete it because it sounds stupid. (I was going to send this as a pm but decided to be brave), I have taken steps at work now to tell people that I am struggling and that I may not be in as much while I try to get the right balance but it is hard to do. I had a strange episode last week which I am seeing the doctors about but I have taken it as a warning sign from my body that I need to take care of myself a lot more. It might seem tough addressing things that you have done recently but at least you are taking steps to rectify them now.

Looking forward to keeping up with your news and updates, especially the animal related ones :D
