Many spiders are being evicted :)
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

Office done. Lots of stuff thrown, two recycling bins full, lots of cardboard delivered to neighbour and a bag of stuff for charity shop. Could ebay some of it but actually I just want it out of office now so will drop off there later today when pop into village shop for cat food and some fresh rolls for dinner.

Read first few pages of diary today. Seems themes remain the same even if the first mortgage is gone :( Still working on own confidence and getting some savings put by three years later!

  • Well done on your decluttering. I agree about ebaying things, sometimes you just want the darned things gone so the chazza in the quickest way to facilitate that!

Sorry that you feel :( after re-reading the first few pages of your diary. For what its worth, when i re-read it the other day it made me feel all :j and positive. Give yourself a rather large pat on the back for what you HAVE achieved, rather than the things that remain undone xx

Thank you. I thought about this while running today. I think it is that I'm still not up to taking Most Handsome cross country or even in a field actually without panic. Yet at the start of the diary I couldn't actually get on him without panic so yes I need to look how far I have actually travelled. I can now get on him without panic and can ride on my own in arena at all 3 places and can even hack him round the roads. That is all good.

And on the financials lets not forget the Watty home is paid for!

It is fab, and very entertaining. In theory it should return to base and recharge but sometimes it just pops under a bed and stops! And sometimes it just stops in the room when clearly it has had enough. And sometimes it returns itself to base. I conclude when it does not, it does not fancy working again for a bit :)
I don't use it often as it really isn't up to dog hair or the assorted sand and mud dirt that gets traipsed into our house. It is however great for the bedrooms as it nips round the edges and under the bed. For a city dweller in a flat it would be wonderful, for rural cottages with animals it is hopeless. But JimLad you've sort of given me an idea here....inspired by you I will admit. I really should make a review of it. Wonder if the cat would agree to be featured ????

    Thanks KC.
Just had fabulous lesson on Most Handsome with lovely instructor who has no sense of frugality and advises buying steady cob to get me over my fear of open spaces.
I have seen one which fits the bill as it was also Mr Watty's suggestion. Instructor has been hard at work persuading me to go ahead with reckless spend.
Strongly suspect Most Handsome was listening in as he was foot perfect and demonstrated excellent paces throughout lesson.
    Lunch and dinner from freezer.

Up late as had to collect Mr Watty from train station. He fell asleep on the train, missed the station. Luckily phoning him worked and he woke to get off at next station. Drove there to pick up a somewhat happy and drunk Mr Watty whose conversation left much to be desired :)

  • Hi Watty, well done on keeping up with the lessons. Could you loan a cob? Would hubby ride out with you on said cob?
