Been reviewing figures given the pounds slump against the dollar and it is not a pretty picture. If there isn't an upturn in a month or two then it isn't looking good for the Watty financials.
the pension fund is a bit down on where it was.

Feeling a little more optimistic. Good meeting in London yesterday with a potential new client that could generate a lot of business over the next year if it comes off. Would be great
Off to a work reunion lunch later today which should hopefully be fun and positive as is a networking get-together with people who I maybe haven't seen for 10 years. Posh restaurant I think - meal is £37!!Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Lunch was fabulous. Followed by travel on the riverbus and cocktails at the shard. Wonderful time was had by all.
And further good news - Kitty has reappeared. She had been missing since Sunday. I wonder if Mr and Mrs Laurel Hedges had been away and incarcerated her in cat jail (cattery) or if she was simply grounded for being out so long. She strolled in sometime late yesterday and demanded some fish and then went home. Was in our garden at 7.00 am and spent the day around the house again. Nice to have her back though I am now living with the doors and windows open so I can hear if they call her. They don't! Just sent her out so they can call her in around midnight. I would happily let her 'sleep over' but Mr Watty is standing firm. Or I would buy them a cat flap. Again Mr Watty says "no"Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Well no - but - we were laughing too much and too involved with ourselves. But I am promising myself a trip to The Shard next time I am in London after we have hit our savings goal. A trip to the viewing platform and then coffee at posh hotel in the ShardMade it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

The Shard is fab. We did it a couple of years ago, but at that time there were no eateries / bars / hotels thereEarly retired - 18th December 2014

Thanks Watty!
Goldie, thats no good! At the start of the novel, the guy practically sets up camp in one of the bars, doing all his business there. Though very interesting to know how recent they are. I've never beenthough the next time I find a deal on tickets, me and my sister are going to go

Your day out sounds brilliant, especially lots of laughter, always good for the soul.
Would you recommend the Pilates? I'm hoping to do some when this current contract completes (not enough time at the moment) although the one I have found isn't specifically for riders I think it might help.0 -
Its supposed to be brilliant for preventing back problems.0

Yes if you can find a good instructor. You want a class that is not too big - the instructor needs to see what you are doing. If she can't see you she can't correct you. I've done some large classes and honestly a complete waste of time as you never get to isolate the bit that you should be working on especially if you can't find itSmall class and good instructor then really good. The other option to consider is Iyengar yoga. It is really precise yoga and you get lots of bits of kit to help you get into the right position so you don't do it half heartedly or wrong. I love it. And will go back once health improves.
