This Time I'm Really Going To Do It

A no spend day. And an evening to be spent catching up on work. Am feeling slightly sick and realise I've just taken on way to much work in order to boost funds. I can't give any of the work away or back now without really damaging future work so will just have to get on with it. Roll on the end of the month when, if I have it right, all this work will be done and the funds will be in and the overpayments boosted.
Until then I wish I could feel less sick/stressed about it. I need to re-think this strategy of taking on more work for sure. If I am going to feel this overwhelmed then I maybe need to just focus on my core business and not take on anymore 'extras' and accept a few months longer on the mortgage.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Sounds interesting. Are you a scientist?0

No point having the mortgage paid off if you're six feet under
. For a sake of a few weeks, and future prospects, just grit your teeth and get on with it, but it's a lesson well learnt with no real damage :T.

Indeed Gallygirl I have learnt a lesson here. After very little sleep was up early to go back to work.
Cancelled tomorrows lunge lesson and Thursdays chiropractor appointment to concentrate on the work. And planning a couple of extra hours this evening.
Phew! Have not worked so hard for a long time!
Would certainly prefer a few months longer on the mortgage to this! But at least I know now and can be more cautious with accepting extra work. Just need to knuckle down till the end of the month.
Would love to report the ponies have been a joy, but Eds manners seem to have gone even further downhill and he had to be lured in from the field with a bucket of pony nuts. I would have left him there but he gets distressed and starts to scream if left so why he cant just come in nicely is beyond me. And, he and baby have had quite a few scraps and baby clearly come off worse as he is lame now. And the elderly managed to escape from his stable and break into the feed room. I was so fed up I sat down and burst into tears. Then laughed at myself as that was so pointless. The elderly was blocking the entire feedroom door with his ample rear end and was totally shocked when I managed to squeeze past him (the space was tiny) and fled backwards as if to say "gee mum I didn't know you could do magic, its terrifying to just appear like that".

Freezing cold. Am in awe of anyone still with their heating off.
Mr Watty's pal who does pest control came round to check there were no resident rats on the yard and very nicely helped fix the ash pan on the woodburning stove so heat will be restored shortly when I light it. Thank goodness:T
And working away in the office. Target to get caught up by evening which I now think is doable.
And ... looking like another No Spend Day.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Hi Watty
Have just spend a few mins catching up on Ed and all things new. He sounds like a character!! My loan had no manners when he turned up but learnt them very quickly!! Today he tried barging through me when I was leading him so I spent 20 mins leading him round the field - he was very unimpressed (I'm more unimpressed that he keeps pulling shoes so is not rideable!!!)
Work sounds hard at the momenthang on in there for now

That is no fun when they keep losing shoes! Plus the extra costs of having them put back on. Can you find the shoes?
Ed is laughably short on manners. Which is not ideal for a nervous lady like myself - but - he may actually now be returning to his previous home. More to follow on this after the weekend when further and better particulars will be revealed! (That is when Mr Watty comes back from work trip)Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

Just had hair cut to improve chances of looking business like at the weekend. £39.40!
Never paid much attention to costs before, but, am now thinking might be worth looking for trainee nights at local salons. Do they still do such things I wonder?
Might also look at see if local colleges have a salon as that might be a cheap alternative too.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
