Friend needs a loan, looking for company that don't look for proof/Id

Friend needs a loan urgently, his credit file is very good, ideally he is looking for a loan company who would provide him a loan based on a credit check as he doesn't have a driving licence, passport is expired, doesn't have wage slips.

Is there loan company's out there who would give him a loan purely based on his credit file?

Also appreciate the fact that majority of loan companies will look for I'd,wage slips etc as it seems to be the criteria?

I suggested asking his bank he currently banks with, unfortunately he has closed his account and joined up with another.

What did he use for ID for opening the new bank account?

An expired passport should be OK for ID.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Amigo Loans? How desperate is he? That is a very expensive loan where non payment leads to the loss of friendships.

Why doesn't he just renew the passport? £72.50...it makes life so much easier.

Yes true he needs a loan urgently, thought by applying to Amigo loans it may have by passed Id/wage slips request etc

He could renew passport possibly within 24hrs by paying little more extra for the fast track service unfortunately still leaves him with the wage slip problem?

He has been getting paid in cash, haven't even been putting it through the bank!He spoke with his boss and requested some kind of proof of earnings..Unfortunately the place he works for have a bit of a reputation for saying they will sort it out and don't..

other problem he has is he has only been working for last few months..

His work have took his bank details and shall get it processed so wages go into his bank account

He also needs the loan urgently latest by 13th of this month,he reckons he could get passport renewed but he is unsure of the wage slip carry on as other staff within have advised there very laid back when it comes to asking them to provide stuff even though by law they are obliged to provide it

His son has rang up some debt with loan-sharks who have provided a dead line for the money to be paid by that date!(Unfortunately they do have a bit of a reputation these guys!)

My friend and his son are under no circumstances wanting to get the police involved unless its the last straw!

Yes friends son is kicking himself/beating himself up for getting involved with these private loan sharks in the first place.

In an ideal world friend wants to pay his debt off and move on.

It has only recently come to light so please spare the obvious remarks for getting involved with these kind of people in the first place etc
