Quickly, Morning :). Right, have done DW x1 WM x1 on and not ready to go into TD yet. Kids to school. Will wait for WM to finish then am off to bed until 12MD. Didn't sleep well last night :( bit of a crampy leg.

Have also told DH that I'm booking the carpet fitter for DD's birthday on 21/11/13 which (in theory) gives me 4 weeks leeway on my target.

DD's hair is rinsed, dogs walked, recycling out and from the list I've wiped the window and door frames (well some of them in LR). Paid stuff now.
Spend less now, work less later.

Aww bless her, hope she has a lovely time!

We are still in pjs :D kids are painting (or mixing, they like mixing colours...) and doing handprints. I have DDs second cake in the oven - and I've iced / sprinkled the turrets. Managed to save peppa from the small cake phew so really all I need is to roll out icing and cover some Swiss rolls and the two cakes and decorate. I have buttercream in the fridge. I think it might be an idea to add peppa and the towers actually at the party rather than trying to transport it assembled.

Bing - there goes my timer...

Lovely photo, pigpen. Squeak looks so grown up! How will Dot cope today with only the baby to play with?

Yesterday DH and I managed to do some shopping and actually agreed on certain items - a small miracle! Then, while he painted protector on the new decking laid by the garden gang, I painted white masonry paint on the rendered walls on either side of the French windows - just in time, as the rain started about 10 hours later!

I had been umming and aahing about which choir to join here, and last night I made my mind up. We had a very good rehearsal with an excellent conductor, and I came home very happy with my decision - I love singing, and it's both physically demanding and mentally challenging so very good for me. It was a pretty good day all round :)

The carpenter has arrived this morning to refit 3 door frames before the plasterer does the dining room at the weekend. DH is painting the lounge ceiling. Progress at last :)

I have already done 1/5 of the display board files this morning, and now I should be able to complete the next 3 quite quickly. The 5th one is a different style, but I have all the material in other formats. Wonder if I can get them all done by lunchtime? Then I have to cut out and mount the sheets.

Anyone want to join me in a HHSomething?

    Thanks for the company!
I ended up making more tea for the workers, dealing with drooping gladioli and trying to stave off sleep (I got up far too early this morning and desperately need to catch up - when I'm tired I simply can't concentrate on anything).
