Bossy - this IS the way to do it! Quite often there will be a reply slip involved too - an envelope with all the details on makes it easier for everybody...

That's the odd thing, it was in a sealed envelope with his full name and "milk money" and reception (didn't know who teacher was at that point, until I handed the envelope to her!

Somewhere between her and the office, mine has wandered. Oh well, I'm sure it will turn up, and the teacher said not to worry, she remembers.

School dinners we can pay for online from next month!

Well. I ordered from fleabay some of those coat hanger thingies you can put 5 hangers on, then let them trail down, saving space. Prices were very odd, I found a pack of 16 for the same price as one was selling a single one for! Anyway, I've been round our cupboards freeing up some space :T and even found a few tops of mine to ditch! They don't look overly strong, but the kids stuff and my tshirts seem ok on them. Jeans might be too heavy...

Have also updated MILs iPod and done a flashdrive with the same music for FIL - his new car apparently has no CD player - just a USB port  hope it works!

Think that's it! Quiet morning at home tomorrow. DS saw DD had been painting and he wants to do some. Need to bake the big cake for Saturday, and I have one more roof quote to come after school.

DD and I might pop out in the afternoon for a new tablecloth...

There is an animal in our woods next to our house making a lot of noise. I think it's a fox. Is it their mating season?

    Sooooo tired. Zzzzzzz

    Her: What? One?

Deco well done and you enjoyed it too!

Really busy day, jaw aches from all the talking. Just need to type and print something for tomorrow morning and iron a shirt for DS2 and I'm done.

Eurgh. Did the HHI whilst cooking tea. Littlies folded up the undies. DH came home from work and complained about there being clothes everywhere :(. Then took DS to cubs. When we finished there, I drove to get DD from sea cadets. (DH dropped her off). Came home and he's obviously made himself tea (fast day so won't eat what we have) but he's left his stuff out everywhere :(. Loaded DW and turned it on. Hopefully it'll be finished soon and I can unload and stack next lot before bed.
DS has 2 new badges to be sewed on to his cub jumper. Naughty boy has grown so much that his cub jumper looks ridiculous. It was massive when he started 20 months ago ! Told him he must stop growing because I'm not taking all the badges off and sewing onto another jumper! Bad enough that I'll have to remove them all to add to his cub blanket :o.
Hoping to get a bit further with the lists tomorrow. Managed to clear some of the floor upstairs but have lots of stuff to put into loft. Once hallway is clear, I can make a start on the paintwork up there which will get me one step closer to carpeting the house.
I have done the pretend estate agent visit in 2 rooms (the smallest, the downstairs loo and the utility). Only little jobs so hopefully they will eventually get done. I am determined to get some stuff done and if I get started on it, DH may feel shamed into getting on with some finishing. If he doesn't, well, I'll get there in the end anyway :D.

ETA: Blinkin HUGE spider just ran across the lounge. I've trapped it under a cup and DH will have to remove it in the morning. It's making me shiver :(. Off to bed, the DW can be done in the morning, I'm pooped!
