It's foggy out this morning, hoping it clears so the bedding can go on the line. Accidentally left OHs socks on the line overnight, do I need to rewash or just let them dry out again?
Just let them dry again - it's only mist dampness and it's only socks (and OH's socks at that!!):D

Good morning
I am late in this week, thanks natty for the lists.
As predicted, I didn't do much flying on Sunday. Left the house at 10.45am, and got back at 6.30pm, after transferring 2 car loads 60 miles, then doing 4 more car loads from the storage place (10 minute drive from the uni). DD1 is on the 4th floor, but you have to go through different blocks and an empty car park (obviously parking in that would be too easy!) and in a tiny lift. Each car load took 2/3 trips (with 5 of us doing the carrying!!)
Unfortunately, when we got in her flat (in halls, but a studio so no sharing) it was filthy!! There was 'stains' in the toilet, toothpaste blobs in the sink and smeared all over the shelf, and general building mess everywhere else (plaster smears?). Not happy! they have had since June to clean these rooms! And I bet they charged the last student to clean it then left it to us to do!! I stayed for a while to help her clear up.
To top it all, after I left she popped next door to the student uni bar/cafe that has just opened to find out when she starts work, only to find out that she doesn't have a job as they are not as busy as they had predicted so don't need her! (errr, the students aren't there yet?) She had gone back 2 weeks earlier than needed (costing 2 weeks rent) because they wanted her to start then! And they didn't even call her!!:mad: She is going into panic mode
I have gone from barely any work to really busy!!I started work yesterday and today at 7am, and it is a bit of a shock to the system!! And it's only Tuesday. The LO I have today is nervous of the dog, so I need to get her used to him. I think I may take them both blackberry picking
Today I need to fill the DW & S&S the kitchen. Also need to put a bolognaise in the SC for dins later. And paperwork - obviously!0 -
Good Morning! I'm loving this page as its helping me focus.
My plan for today:
Do bedroom
Hoover and mop as many rooms as I can
Clutter 4 bags to CD
Do a small shop in Aldi
Take dd to her pre employment interview
Have a cuppa with my by
Have a great day folks!0/4500 -
Morning everyone
DH was in a lot of pain yesterday and then up all night - sent him up to bed at 6am, so hoping he gets some sleep and that the kiddies have a lie in so he doesn't wake
Plans for today are to finish up the last minute school stuff so we're all set to go tomorrow, I also need to return a 2nd hand sewing machine I bought yesterday as although advertised as in good working order I can't get the bloomin thing to work, but at least the seller has said I can have my money back :], also need to have a go at clearing the stairs when DH is up - I keep dumping stuff on them to take up but just leave the stuff there - bad me!
Bossy - there won't be many Dads there if my experiences are anything to go by but I hope all goes well for you x
Hugs to all poorlies and I hope you all get better soon, spoons being sent out

Morning all from sunny Helsinki.:hello:
bossy can I go down for 2 challenges - the C25k (will have to look for instructions) and also if LW doesn't mind can I borrow her challenge. While I was drinking I lived in jogging bottoms, my personal hygiene took a severe hit, and make-up, jewellery and perfume went out of the window. So I am going to challenge myself to wear jogging bottoms ONLY for jogging:D and apply perfume at least everyday. Jewellery and make-up may take a bit longer.
Good luck to all the littlies going back/starting school today and hope that Mum's aren't too traumatised.
(((hugs))) and spoons to all in need.
ETA: Earrings and necklace, perfume - CHECK. Wearing walking trousers - for sightseeing. Yay me.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
