Then got this one, which is slightly different via email
We are assuming that you are experiencing tough times financially at the moment.
Before we pass your file to a Debt Collection Agency or take any further action, we would like to offer you one final opportunity to set up a repayment plan with us directly and via email - you don't have to speak to us as we understand it can be difficult whilst at work.
Your current balance is £710.00 and we can offer you a repayment plan over 3 or 6 months. If it is a repayment plan over 3 months, we can waiver all the late fees that you have incurred to date.
To set up a repayment plan, you will have to pay 10% of your balance of £710.00 within the next 7 days.
If this is something you would be interested in, please reply to this email and we will immediately Freeze your interest or you can call us on 0208-532-5022.
Unfortunately your credit history has already been marked in a negative manner as we previously advised you it would, however, when this repayment plan has been completed - we will update your credit history in a Positive manner, thus making it easier to obtain credit in the future with other companies.
Best regards,
David

From Mr Lender
Your account has been passed over to myself for further review.
My name is Michael and I work in the repayment plan department at Mr Lender. My role is to provide advice and support to our customers who may be experiencing financial hardship. We would like to work with you in order to alleviate some of the pressures you may be experiencing as a result of your current financial situation. We understand you may be in financial difficulty and we would like to put you in a repayment plan to make things easier for you. Unfortunately we are unable to accept your payment offer of £16.00 per month
Your outstanding balance is currently £710.00. We wanted to offer you the following additional help in order to close your account with us.
We wanted to offer you the following option:
Place you in a repayment plan for your balance of £710.00. This will mean you will not be paying off the interest but actually paying off your outstanding balance. We will therefore freeze your balance and stop any further charges or interest from being added. Please see the below repayment plan options below:
Six months – £118.33
Nine months – £78.89
Twelve months - £59.17
If you are unable to do any of the above options, please complete the attached income & expenditure form and once received and reviewed, we shall then be in contact with you regarding an outcome. Please note the minimum amount we can accept is £40.00 per month.
In order for us to set up your repayment plan and freeze your account you will need to make your first payment today. If this is not possible, then please let us know what date you can make your payment on.
On what date would you like to make your other payments and please confirm we have your correct card details ending in ?
16 digit card no:
Start date:
Expiry date:
Last 3 digits on back of card:
Once your account is closed it will be marked in a positive manner and may make it easier for you to obtain future credit.
As soon as we receive your response we shall either arrange for your repayment plan to be set up or we will be in contact after we have reviewed your income & expenditure. Please be advised payment would need to be made today in order for us to action this. If this is not possible please let us know when you can make your first payment.
Please also see the link below where you will find a number of free debt counselling organisations who can help you. There is also the charity Stepchange. They are a free debt management company. If they decide to act on your behalf, they will contact all your creditors for you and look to place you in a debt management plan for an amount that might be more affordable for you. Please find their details below:

Had a call from Quick Quid on Saturday night.
they asked me was I not planning on paying back the debt. I explained to them that I was and I had explained all this several times in emails to them. I had stated that I had offered them £30 a month but would only pay by standing order.
the girl then said ok she would pass me to someone that could help. She then passed me on and I had to go through security with the guy.
I said to him look you phoned me I have asked you to contact me by email only. I will pay by standing order and until you give me this facility there is nothing I can do for you and put the phone down as I am fed up with them.
Why on earth won't they sell the debt. My debt has been outstanding from 2010 and they haven't had a penny off me since May.
Frustrating to say the least.0 -
