Just to update on where I am with mine.

I emailed QQ last week asking them to contact me by email only. I stated again that I was willing to pay and asked them for bank details in order to make a standing order.

Yesterday I got a text message from them asking me to ring them. Still no response to the email.

I wish they would pass me on to a collection agency and be done with it.

I have now paid off Payday UK so am free of them.

Still to go in order of smallest debt to biggest.

Thanks for the update.

Let me know if you have any luck with Quickquid, and the standing order?

Did they offer you the cheque option?

Well done for clearing PaydayUK. So far PaydayUK have come across as the most reasonable of the lot of them.

Thanks, just wanted to be in control and handle things myself.

Your still in control, but without the hassle of dealing with multiple lenders. If you keep going round in circles, hand the problem over and sit back, relax and have a cup of tea.

Have just read this thread from start to finish, phew !! lol, to be honest, and I know this isn't widely regarded as the way to go, but, I would let them all pass your accounts to DCA`s, depending on who they are, most should be more agreeable to your payment arrangements, you seem to be going round in circles with most of this lot, and that's all part of there strategy, to confuse and annoy the hell out of you, seriously, stop paying until they all sell your accounts on, it will also give you some time to "collect yourself" it usually takes them 6-8 months to sell the debts on, time there to save a little cash maybe, put you in a better position, you will still get calls and letters, its the calls that do your head in right ? if your with BT they have a scheme called "choose to refuse" whereby you can "block" up to 10 numbers from calling you, its 6 quid a month, but worth it for the peace, or you can buy a new phone that does the job as well, yea it does cost unfortunately but worth it if you are been hassled, just food for thought, good luck with whatever you choose to do.:T

Thanks, I know a number of people that have gone down the route of waiting until it is passed to a DCA. It will go that way with the ones that are unreasonable.

My phone is constantly on silent now, so I am not talking to anyone. However I pick up voicemails, and read texts. They call on my mobile, not landline.
• Just got this from Mr Lender,

More of the same, ignoring my offer.

Thank you for your email and income and expenditure. Your account has been passed over myself for further review.
My name is Michael and I work in the Repayment Plan department at Mr Lender. My role is to provide advice and support to our customers who may be experiencing financial hardship. We would like to work with you in order to alleviate some of the pressures you may be experiencing as a result of your current financial situation. We understand you are in financial difficulty and we would like to put you in a repayment plan to make things easier for you. However we are unable to accept your payment offer of £16.00 per month. This means you can still pay us £16.00 per month but unfortunately it will not be enough to set you up in a repayment plan and freeze your account.
Your outstanding balance is currently £710.00. We wanted to offer you the following additional help in order to close your account with us.
We wanted to offer you the following option:
Place you in a repayment plan for £600.00 (giving you a £110.00 discount.) We will freeze your balance and stop any further charges or interest from being added. The minimum we can accept is £30.00 per month. If this is not manageable for you, we suggest contacting a free debt management company such as Stepchange. They are a free counselling organisation. If they choose to act on your behalf they will place you in a debt management plan. Therefore whilst we are unable to accept £16.00 per month working directly with you, we may accept a smaller amount if you were in a debt management plan.
In order for us to set up your repayment plan, freeze your account and work directly with yourself, you will need to make your first payment of £30.00 today. If this is not possible, please let us know what date you can make your first payment of £30.00 on.
On what date would you like to make your other payments and please confirm we have your correct card details ending in xxxx. If you have a new card please fill in the below:
16 digit card no:
Start date:
Expiry date:
Last 3 digits on back of card:
Alternatively as stated by yourself, if you prefer to pay by bank transfer, please find our bank details below. When making payment please provide your reference number below:

Bank: Barclays
Account No: 23824616
Sort Code: 20 95 61
Reference No:

Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us
As soon as we receive your response, depending on whether you can pay £30.00 per month we shall arrange for your repayment plan to be set up. Please be advised payment would need to be made today in order for us to action this. If this is not possible please let us know when you can make your first payment. Please note while your account is not in a repayment plan or a debt management plan, your account is still open to incur further charges and interest.
Please also see the link below where you will find a number of free debt counselling organisations who can help you, but we would strongly recommend contacting Stepchange if £30.00 is not affordable for you and enquire about a debt management plan.
Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
