Wow that's amazing! I love love love her bird pictures too. There are some lovely things in the different studios there. It's a great place.
I get so proud of our little corner, it's a really lovely place to have a studio too. A proper little community. Unsurprisingly, I have a couple of her pieces in my home too. Some honesty and some bees in my office.
Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:

Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this...but was wondering if anyone can recommend what to do with loads of out of date beauty stuff I have accumulated. Feels wrong to throw them out but they are well out of date so was wondering if they could be repurposed - especially since I don't have time for a beauty routine anymore - all I really use is soap and water and a bit of hand cream (of which I have more than I can use).
Specifically I have loads of face creams, facial scrubs, facial washes, shower gels, shampoos and body lotions. I guess I can use the facial washes and shampoos as hand wash? But what to do with the rest?
how out of date are they? Do they smell like they've gone off? I would use them all, and perhaps the facial creams on my feet (I'm not very good at throwing things out)

Everything is going so slow but I have no INs for this month. Not even the free Body Shop hand cream (as forgot to get one when I was at work)Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.

On a positive note I have 5 ebay outs and DH UU a mouthwash
but more ins to declare:
4 Boots cotton pads - needed
4 moshi monster lipbalms - this is a stocking filler for DD
2 packs tampons - needed
Bourjois lipstick - no excuse I liked it
Revlon blusher - no excuse I liked it
No7 microdermabrasion, hot cloth cleanser and face mask - again no excuse
Sure max protection deo - HG and had a coupon
Radox refresh shower gel - DH favourite and DH only has 1 in the stash
razors
2 boots smile toothpaste 6+ - needed
2 Cutex nail polish remover - needed
Barry M mascara this was free with some nail polish which I dont count - this will be popped in a christmas hamper
3 mouthwash - needed
Johnsons cotton buds - needed
5 lipbalms - DD gets very sore lips in the cold so we attempt to prevent this by having a balm in every coat and some in reserve for the ones that get lost or laundered! No more buying toiletries0 -
How do you measure out an application? x
5ml is a teaspoonful, roughly and 15ml a tablespoonful. Shower gel I do by eye, pouring it on to my shower puff, a teaspoonful or two of shampoo or conditioner sits quite nicely in a cupped palm. I've checked my measuring using a spare clean printer ink refill syringe and I was fairly accurate,
Lotions are a bit harder to judge as they vary so much, but when I've had small 60 ml bottles they have lasted for around 3 full body applications.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Nosy moo that I am, I just had to take a look at your jewellery luvlycake, and wow - how pretty?! You're one talented lady. Best stock up on biccies as I will be sure to pop in next time I'm up in Manchester
I'm having a lovely time visiting my mum but she is a bad influence and I've had a very spendy day renewing my winter work wardrobe. To balance it out we popped into Debenhams and picked up the Philosophy freebie :rotfl: so I have INs:
18. Hope in a jar moisturiser 7ml
19. Hope in a jar night cream 7ml
20. When hope is not enough serum 4ml
21. Purity made simple cleanser 6ml
22. Also got another of the BS hand creams.
So no bought INs today, spend this month is low but my numbers are not looking goodMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

I haven't used lush since i gave up SLS because they still use it and i really dont agree with the militant way lush have promoted causes recently. i got properly collered the last time i went in and i felt like i couldn't dare say i disagreed with their viewpoint or id be labelled a witch and burned at the stake there and then or something. it really put me off going back.
Ditto - I can't bear to even walk past Lush due to the overpowering aroma, though I do like the sounds of some of the products from the feedback on here. I quite like some BS products but generally find them to be rather overpricedMFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -

I tend to use BS as my everyday basic shower gels but otherwise I wouldn't really recommend the products. Lush I have gone off but I still love the bubble bars and bombs; having started making my own however, I do realise how strongly coloured and scented the lush items are. I prefer something a little more... Pared back?!
Today has been a day filled with DIY and my gel nails are still going strong! Impressed so far!0
