Hi Ladies,

Wow I feel awful for not being on here for a month!!!
I guess I haven't been doing anything wedding related for a while? or maybe it just seems that way!
My other half works away mid week and so a lot of the things we do are on the weekends although work has been a little on the light side this year,
I keep worrying about money but to be honest I am sure we will be ok, it's just me being silly. We don't own a credit card and have not overdraft so there is no way we can get in debt, if you can't pay for it you can't have it kind of life style!

We had a 'moment' a couple of weeks ago...
Everybody has been bangoing on about the wedding reception (not the wedding!) and it all seems to be getting a little too serious for us. We wanted a basic ceremony in the town hall and our bellssing outside at the farm with a very relaxed outdoor/barn feel, hogroast and games, like a big family BBQ. Everybody has their opions and to be honest we want what we want.
We have ditched the 'theme' for the wedding party. All the girls dresses have gone on ebay and the suits have not been baught!
We have some matching more summary dresses from Coast for the girls and my other half is going down the cowboy boot and waistcoat route.
I knew something like this would happen when we hit the 'lull' stage between the planning and the big day lol

Anyway other things have been progressing on a happier note!
I have just booked the Snowdon lager and the Ynys mon ale to be delivered and set up at the farm on the Friday... cue wedding day hangover for some!
I have ordered our Abberffraw Welsh shortbread biscuits, yum!

Things we desperately need to do:
Order the wedding cake.... i know i know! Going to order cheese wheels by this time next week from Caws Cenarth and Snowdonia Cheese. They wanted 4 to 6 weeks notice so there is still time!!!

Can't beleive it is 8 weeks this weekend..... blimey!!!

my second dress has arrived the one from china and its fab i cant believe the quality for the price.

so hows everyone doing?
i picked up my wedding dress last week and i love it i took my bridesmaid with me and tried it with my tiara necklace and shoes. it was so much fun. and i was even told not to lose any more weight or it will need taking in and here was me worrying it would need letting out lol. :j its hanging in the wardrobe covered in its bag and H2B has promised he wont have a sneaky look. he says he cant wait to see me in it on the day so doesnt want to spoil the moment lol. although he does keep trying to guess what its like and judging my reaction. lots of poker face needed. :silenced:
so all i need now is H2Bs shoes he cant find any he likes :undecided
and to book taxi and discuss hair styles.
getting excited now :dance:

i ladies how are we getting on? My future in laws have been giving me a hard time and i havent been about in a while as im just fed up with all the negitives towards the wedding. But anyways

have my dress fitting and hair trial tomorrow eek lol spent ages on pintrest looking at hair styles but havent looked at them in ages, should prob find my tiara aswell before i go. Finally decided on our cake it this

i get married in 16 days ! everythings just about sorted i have my dress and iv spoken to hairdresser and sent pictures of hairstyles i like, i wont meet her till on the day. im doing my own make up so i need to have a practice with that.
the cakes lovely my tartan ribbon for cake came today lol.

Ooohhh not long now! Whats the ribbon like? The cake shop have a stock so im hoping they have ours but not a huge deal if they dont.

ive arranged for someone to do my makeup as i dont wear it much but trials not till next weekend. The day after my hen lol.hope im not out too late

i ordered the ribbon from ebay its not a named tartan its just white lime green and purple tartan design im hoping it'll look ok with some white roses and thistle decoration and a topper.
the wedding is scarily close now lol.
if they can make you look fabulous the day after your hen with little sleep and a hangover then your wedding day make up will be no problem lol.

Haha i hadnt thought of that! I dont drink that much but that may make it even worse! Shes not coming til half 2 so hopefully catch a decent nights sleep.

the tartan sounds nice. Not long now!:j
