Like anything customer facing when I hate people?

    Been there. Got that T-shirt.

Problem wanders around department. Aimlessly. Cluelessly. Multiple people bleating "Does anyone know how to do this?" when it's not hard, and they're paid enough to be able to do so on their own. Eventually I snap, and point out what needs to be done. Sarcastically. Email forwarded onto customer as-is.

Customer rings me, thanking me, and asking for further advice.

Apparently, I'd been one of the few people to show an interest, and the first person to suggest something sensible which worked.

They didn't mention the sarcasm, and neither did i...

Luckily customers often aren't as stupid as they act, which means they do appreciate when someone actually gets something done for them.

Struggling to get any motivation to do anything this evening, which includes sorting out applying for the job.

Yes, then they phone me direct, which is never really my intention. I can't seem to get through to them that I don't actually care about their problems, I just fix them. We have people who do care about their problems, and will care all over our customers' problems given half a chance.

And then they'll ask me to fix them... :rotfl:

Any particular reason? The week is downhill from here.

I'd hoped when you went quiet, that's what you were doing.

    How did today go?

It went quiet because I was snoring. I applied this evening. Today was ok, busy, have been given another pile of 'busy work' to keep me from snoozing at the desk.

Well, at least you'll be busy.

Today had a phone ringing non stop, a pile of paper work to file and some more to collate, tomorrow promises more of the same paperwork wise.

Yup more of the same at work today, on the upside I opened the last two weeks payslips and I got paid holiday pay for the day I had off sick when I wasn't expecting to.

The downside of the day at work is that they've decided to do a World Cup promo and I was conned in to holding the sign and having a photo taken which is now on the company facebook page, looking at the other photos on there the rest of the female staff were clearly able to run and hide from the graphics bod with a camera.
