See comments on thigh strength....I'm not built to show off my thighs and bum!

Dancers and gymnasts do it all the time.

And also show off their muscular thighs and bums... :rotfl:

It was a queen size so plenty big enough and deeper than my matress at home - if not for the slightly plastic texture it'd have been better than my matress at home.

You probably need to replace your one at home them. A blow-up mattress should be nowhere close to the comfort of a proper one.

Unless it was the snuggling... ;)

Yeah it was a great weekend. We were pretty lucky with the weather while we were out it was (thankfully) just while I was driving home, the sideways rain tended to be my hint to get off the motorway for a break, along with when my eyes wanted to close, or I realised I had no idea which bit of the motorway I was on.

I can see that being a problem. Following the signs for "The North" only works for so long before they change into "Scotland"...

Dancers and gymnasts tend to have a significantly smaller layer of fat over the muscle!

It could have been the snuggling - and that I was exhausted, 320 mile drive, day at work, 3 hours in the play centre = scuba ready to collapse by the time I got to bed Friday night, Saturday was quieter but an equally long day.

But, a good time had by all, a good run out for your car, and now...work?

    I artent dead yet. :D

Hayfever has kicked in which sucks.

Not achieved much over the last week about money saving or making other than working. But spending has been going well - signed up for a 5k run which has cost me £30, and started looking for shoes to wear for the wedding in June - trouble is the ones I like are £130....so I need to go to the Trafford Centre to see if I can see them in person before deciding if I should buy them.

This is the benefit of working alone and having no actual work to do when the phone isnt ringing - google is not my friend. The shoes are from Hobbs, and are on the John Lewis website, the nearest Hobbs/JL is at the Trafford Centre, tomorrow I plan to have a look at Selfridges and Debenhams websites to see if they've anything vaguely suitable - the generic high street shoe/fashion shops either don't have colours I like or don't have anything which isn't nose bleed causing in height.

The Hobbs ones are grey and silver with a nice chunky heel (all the better to balance on after a bevy or three), and not too tall.

Of course it is. You could be spending the time expanding your mind with stuff like particle physics - for example... ;)

Is silver/grey an actual colour? What colours are you thinking of?

Silver and grey then if you're being fussy :p

The dress is teal, so silver tones is preferrable for a summer wedding over the bronze colours I'd have looked at otherwise as that means I'll get more wear from them, although one of my friends suggested coral. Need to take the dress with me to see what actually works with it when I shop though.

Work is work, dull but necessary - the usual woman who does the job is now on holiday so shes not been sending stuff down for me to be doing as she was before.
